i. asteroid notes
*(not a pro. just for fun)
• natives with Ceres[1] (garners agriculture, nurture, nourishment, food etc.) in scorpio might feel guilty for what they deem as 'overnourishment' towards themselves instilled by their caregivers. their guardians could've told them to use small amounts of their lotions, eat less portions of food etc. so that they don't run out too quickly because money was always unstable. from what i've noticed, these natives might be picky eaters & are consistent with the type of food that they eat.
• Nike[307] (shows where you're victorious) trine/sextile/conjunct the Sun/MC could have an easier time obtaining power over others. whether it be their influence on others or falling into positons of power like being a CEO of a company.
Mark Zuckerberg has Nike conjunct the Sun in his natal chart & he's a CEO. Emma Chamberlain has it conjunct her MC & she owns a company. despite both receiving backlash & other hindering factors.
• Pholus[5154] (represents a small catalyst of decisions yielding in massive results) in transit conjunct Mercury in your natal chart is where you should be careful with your words. nonetheless, the results could be positive like posting on your socials & becoming viral.
Mercury also rules over vehicles. during this transit, i decided to take a short walk & ended up getting hit by a car lmao.
• Eros[433] (IMO represents both love & passion towards yourself & externally) square Mercury could indicate that you don't flirt or don't know how to without cringing. these natives could also have trouble with words of affirmation towards themselves & feel uncomfortable when others flirt with them especially if they don't like them.
• i checked Iris[7] (represents intuition) in celebrities charts who said they've always knew they were going to be well-known and all 3 (Jim Carrey, Oprah Winfrey, Lil Nas X) have leo degrees on their Iris. very cool observation if i do say so myself :D
(i'm aware some of these are dwarf planets)
thanks for reading :)

Pholus
asteroid pholus (5145) and tattoos: ☄
pholus, son of silenus and melia, was one of the only wise and docile centaurs in greek mythology (the other being chiron). he sheltered himself in a cave on mount pholoe and was a good friend of the hero hercules.
on one of hercules' journeys, he passed by this mountain and pholus welcomed him into his cave for a meal. but when he opens a wineskin for hercules during their feast, the wine's aroma escapes the cave and enrages all of the centaurs nearby.
hercules kills most of the centaurs with poison-tipped arrows before the others flee elsewhere. after the altercation, pholus leaves his cave to bury the bodies of the centaurs he once knew. but mistakenly, while examining the arrows in their bodies, he poisons himself by dropping one on his foot.
i personally associate pholus with tattooing because he pricks himself with a sharp object in his story. generally speaking, pholus has a strong connection with needles, arrows, sharp weapons, etc.

The Centaur
In Greek Mythology, centaurs (Greek: Κένταυροι) are creatures that are half man and half horse. They have the head, neck, chest and arms of a man and the legs and lower body of a horse. Most centaurs are brutal, violent creatures known for their drunkenness and lawless behaviour. They live mainly around Mount Pelion in Thessaly, a region in north-eastern Greece.
The word centaur comes from the Greek word Κένταυρος, which means "piercing bull". Another possible origin for the name comes from the Mesopotamian word Centaurus, the constellation that depicted an epic battle of gods in Mesopotamian culture.
Origins
The most common theory of the origins of the myth come from when the early Greeks first encountered horse-mounted riders. This sight may have been interpreted by the early Greeks as a singular creature with the combined features of a man and a horse.
There are several stories that tell of how the centaurs originally came about.
The most commonly-referenced myth starts with Ixion, the king of the Lapiths of Thessaly. He had fallen in love with Hera, the wife of Zeus. Zeus found out and instead gave him a cloud nymph that looked like Hera. This nymph was called Nephele (Greek: Νεφέλη, meaning clouds/mass of clouds). He forced himself on Nephele, impregnating her.
In one version, Nephele had a son named Centaurus. This son, who had a human form, raped the Magnesian mares of Mount Pelion, and they then gave birth to the half-human, half-horse centaurs. In another version, the centaurs were the offspring of Ixion and Nephele instead.
The Centauromachy
The Centauromachy was a battle between the Lapiths and the centaurs at the wedding of King Pirithous and Hippodamia. It started when the centaurs drank too much wine and became drunk. When the bride was presented to greet the guests, the centaur Eurytion attempted to abduct her, spurring the other centaurs into attempting the same with the other woman and young boys present.
During the battle that followed, Theseus came to the aid of the Lapiths. Eurytion's nose and ears were cut off and he was thrown out. After the Lapiths had won the battle, the centaurs were expelled from Thessaly to the northwest.
When the bride, Hippodamia, was presented to greet the guests, the centaur Eurytion leapt up and attempted to abduct her. All the other centaurs were up in a moment, straddling women and boys. In the battle that ensued, Theseus came to the Lapiths' aid. They cut off Eurytion's ears and nose and threw him out. After the battle the defeated Centaurs were expelled from Thessaly to the northwest.
Pholus and Heracles
Pholus was a wise, kind and civilised centaur. He was the son of Silenus, companion and tutor to the wine god Dionysus, and the nymph Melia. Pholus is generally only associated with one myth, in which he encounter Heracles.
He lived on Mount Pelion when Heracles climbed the mountain in search of the Erymanthian Boar as one of his twelve labours. Pholus opened up his cave for Heracles and he was served meat and wine. When the other centaurs smelled the wine, they tried to enter the cave, but Heracles drove them away, chasing and killing many with his bow and arrow.
When Pholus saw the bodies of the other centaurs outside of his cave, he decided to bury them. After examining one of the arrows lodged in one of their bodies, he accidentally dropped it on his foot, and the poisoned tip of the arrow imbedded itself into him and killed him instantly. When Heracles eventually returned and discovered Pholus' body, he repaid the kind centaur by organising a funeral and burying him at the foot of the mountain where he had lived.
Chiron
Chiron was the eldest and wisest of the centaurs. Unlike the rest of his kind, he was an immortal son of the Titan Cronus and a half-brother of Zeus. He was a renowned teacher that tutored many of the greatest heroes in Greek mythology, including the Argonauts Jason and Peleus, the physician Asclepius, the demigod Aristaeus and Achilles of Troy.
He was accidentally wounded by Heracles when the hero was battling other centaurs. The wound, having been infected with a Hydra venom-tipped arrow, was incurable. Suffering an unbearable pain, Chiron relinquished his immortality so that he didn't have to live any longer with the pain. Zeus then placed him among the stars as the constellation Centaurus.
Nessus
Unlike Pholus and Chiron, Nessus acted temperamentally more like the majority of the centaurs, with a wild and uncontrollable nature. He took part in the centaur's war against the Lapiths and survived the conflict, later finding work as a ferryman taking people across the Evinos River.
On one particular journey, Nessus had to carry Deianeira, the wife of Heracles, across the river. He was so enamoured by her beauty that he tried to force himself on her as soon as they arrived at the shore.
Heracles had been waiting for his wife's arrival and, upon seeing what was happening, dipped an arrow in poison and fired it at Nessus. As he lay dying, Nessus told Deianeira that his blood would make sure that Herales would stay true to her forever, knowing full well that the blood would be infected with the poison.
She foolishly believed him. Later, when her trust in Heracles waned as a result of Iole, she spread Nessus' blood on a robe and gave it to him. Heracles took it to a gathering of heroes. Meanwhile, after accidentally spilling some blood on the floor, Deianeira realised that the blood was actually poisoned when the blood began to burn.
She tried to send a warning, but her messenger was too late. Heracles died slowly and painfully as the robe burned off his skin. He was then taken to Mount Olympus by Zeus and welcomed among the gods for the heroic acts he performed in life.

Asbolus was a centaur who used birds to create prophecies. To the poet Hesiod Asbolus was an exquisite augur who even warned Nessus about his fated death at the hands of Hercules. Most significant was his prophecy for the wedding of Lapithae. As illustrated in Ovid's Metamorphoses, Asbolus was the prophet who cried warnings to his brethren to not go to the wedding - they were all doomed to die if they went. Notably this is the event in which Pholus, Chiron, and Cyllarus all die. Asbolus himself was shot through with many arrows by Hercules - Absolus’s injuries are described as a kind of “crucifixion.” IN MY OPINION Asbolus in your chart can represent a) your connection to birds, b) where you receive signs regarding the future, c) where no one tends to listen to you, and/or d) where you are a martyr.
i encourage you to look into the aspects of asbolus along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of asbolus AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede asbolus!
