TIL that there are already apps for scanning film negatives with the phone. I admit that maybe I've slept under a rock last couple of years.

And even more than one. I had to try one (and throw my old and useless scanner Epson v100 😑).

First I installed Filmbox by Photomyne. Some are okayish, others are worse. However they are charging some good money and straight to yearly subscription.

My dad took this picture while his dad was whitewashing my parents farm near Hou, Denmark! Picture is taken around 1965. Found this old photo today of my 1987 (which I regret selling) from back in the day of non-digital Photos and scanned it with my App which does a great job fixing old paper photos and makes then digital with a host of great tools to enhance, crop, colour B&W etc. Also has Cloud Backup and sharing tools.
