Thanks, I hate it
(( Two things......
1) I had a presentation I gave and a QA panel I participated in on Saturday... it was TONS of fun sharing my research, I even won best presentation for my section around healthcare and mental health in relation to colonialism. I love presenting, I loved seeing the smiles and hearing them laugh as I tried to be engaging rather than simply talking at them. I loved the inspired looks of inquiry and getting the chance to network with some fantastic professors even if the subject wasn’t even for my major. 10/10 I would definitely do again, and I kind of want to do the SURCA showcase next semester.
2) I keep saying I am going to draw something, yet each week it doesn’t happen.....I give up halfway between each drawing because I think they come out awful.......oops.))
Superstring Theory
I want to share this with y'all. I recently found about the Superstring Theory. Of course it is very complicated to explain but summed up, it states that there are alternate dimensions in time-space, in which there are different versions of yourself in specific moments, they travel at a different pace so what you did 2 years ago could be happening in an alternate reality. I thought this was super interesting and I daydream about my other selves and what they are doing right now. This somehow makes me feel like my life isn’t that boring, but rather exciting if what I’ve done in the past is happening in approximately 25 alternate realities. Pretty cool huh?
idk I tend to have a simplistic way of putting things when I don’t understand how shit happened? the one time I sliced a little of my finger open by opening a fucking door for example, like, I couldn’t even tell you how, but I ended up with this cut on my finger, and when ppl asked me, “what did you do?!” I literally said, “I opened a door” - what else could I say? So when I say “I walked into a sink”, that’s also just about figurative. I picked up my phone as I was walking away from the sink after washing my hands, the rim of this sink is raised about a centimeter off from the counter, I caught that centimeter with the corner of my phone as I turned and next thing I know the corner is shattered --???
D: do you know how many times she asked me for bangs? S: like 10 times. D: do you know how bad she wanted bangs? S: 10
I mean, that bottle, with the flame shooting out of it. Thats basically a rocket engine.
I wonder if the thrust to weight ration is higher than one...
My grades are up for adoption because I can’t raise them
