Flower Festival: Adonea Theatre

Lanna always liked to show her appreciation every now and then. To her fellow employees of the theatre, she left a yellow rose and white freesia tied together with a pink ribbon. Along with the flowers was a note that read:

~★ Similarly to the planetarium, Cinnamon’s place at the emporium has kept her comfortable in her time here. It ties her to her home and her research, giving her a place to rest just as much as a place to work. The energy she receives when she walks in always lifts her spirits.

~★ Which is why there is yet another lavender rose (love at first sight) tucked in a vase in the store, which she will care for diligently. And in addition, one red alstroemeria (friendship and devotion) for Ella and Abigail, her co-workers.

Thank you for being so kind to me here. These represent my devotion to our work area, as well as my hopes for friendship moving forward. Please accept them.

Ice Breakers || Georgia & Ella

[🐎] — "Heeeeeey, Ella~!”

Georgia approaches her employee just as the pet shop closes, catching up with the girl before she started on her way home, or wherever it was she planned to go. The rancher didn’t have any plans set aside for herself, so she figured she would poke Ella and see if she had anything going on. The two of them never got to hang out much, and she wanted to change that.

“It’s Friday!” She cheers, laughing. “D’you have any plans? If not, I reckon we could go out for some dinner. Maybe a few drinks? But only if you want to, of course!”

For a lot of people, high school was the worst time of their life. But for Alex, it was his prime. Sure, he didn’t have the best grades, and his behaviour had earned his grandparents a few angry calls from the principal. But he was generally well-liked, he excelled at sport, and he’d even managed to charm his way out of a good proportion of the detentions he should have had. 

Walking down the hallway with his classic varsity jacket, he gave out a selective few nods to those that he’d consider friends. Then, he spotted a familiar girl stood by her locker. With a quick glance over his shoulder (the football team would never let him live down talking to a girl who wasn’t a cheerleader), he made a beeline for her.

“Ella! Hey!”

The two had met when they’d both moved to the islands at around the same time. She was his first friend on Leuda, and they’d been through (what they had left of) elementary school as best friends. Since starting high school, though, they’d started to drift. The two didn’t really have the same interests; Alex was into sport, Ella was more into music. But he couldn’t just walk past her as if he didn’t know her when his friends weren’t there to stop him!

Flower Fest: Nani the Fuck?

He wasn't sure why he had received flowers in the first place. It would have been nicer if he hadn't, but since it seemed the right thing to do was return the favor, he bought two tulips for each of those mysterious girls. One of them he knew worked on Sunset Ranch so he left one there for her. The other... well, he just left it where he had last seen her. If someone else picked it up, it wouldn't bother him.

In each of their notes, he wrote: 

I hate flowers, but I forgive you. ..... Thanks....? I guess...? -Neil

Flower Festival: Ella

[🐎] — Once she left City Hall, Georgia figured the smarter thing to do would be to go around town and gift her friends, before heading back to work. So her next stop is a workplace of Ella’s, the Adonea Theatre. The theatre wasn’t the sort of place Georgia normally frequented, not being one too well versed in music and the arts, so when she steps inside it feels almost as though she had been transported to another world entirely.

Everything looked so fancy and sophisticated, and the rancher felt way too under-dressed in her shirt and jean shorts. So when she spots Ella, she makes a beeline for the girl, already pulling out the red alstroemeria and blue lisianthus to gift her, and leave this awkward atmosphere as soon as possible. It would have been nice to chat with Ella a bit, but she did have other places to go, and work to get back to.

"Hey, Ella! I guess I wanna show my appreciation for you... so here!” She says playfully, holding out the flowers to her. “Happy Flower Festival.”

Forgive me || Mariel & Ella

The pain from the steel wouldn’t go away this time. It hurt a lot. Mariel wasn’t used to this sort of thing at all...

Flying away in a lesser form took more energy than she thought as well, it seemed that everything was moving in slow motion, and that each wing flap was like trying to swim through sand.

She wasn’t even sure if she made it close to the church before she blacked out. It took the last of her strength to even re-materialize back into a human form (Her usual form) before her vision went dark and she collapsed on the ground in a heap of petals, butterflies, and silken fabrics.
