A Study in Hedgehogs, Part 2
i'm just a little hedgie
waiting with my pot of tea
for a sleek and handsome otter
to wrap up at a crime scene
he may think that eating's bullshit
yet i swear, if it kills me
i'll feed him up for winter
then he'll hibernate with me
oh cheers, i think i hear him
coming through the underbrush
uh oh, it is his brother
the British Govern-Ostrich!
he's gonna steal this pie of mine
and share it with a silver fox
he'll do it just to spite his sibling
that bird is just so devious
there's my otter! in the distance!
and now he's running at full tilt
to strangle that fat ostrich
with his scarf - he could be killed!
the fox and I are now between them
hoping no one ends up dead
and all we really wanted
was to get them in our beds
my picnic has been a disaster
my otter says: a lesson learned
but it's him who's getting schooled
when to our flat we are returned
