1. If you could meet anyone in this world (celebrity or not), who would it be?
I don’t actually want to meet anyone. That sounds weird, but I think meeting celebrities is just awkward for both parties, and pretty much all of the family and friends I’d want to meet I can just catch a train for.
It’d be nice to meet up with my Tumblr friends though :D
2. What instrument would you love to play?
I want to be able to play piano better than I do already; I’m self-taught and can’t read sheet music, so moving beyond muscle memory would be nice.
Otherwise, bass guitar (if they make one small enough for me to be able to play whilst actually sounding good and BASSY)
I love the Wind on Fire series by William Nicholson, especially the second one (Slaves of the Mastery). Although marketed as children’s books, they explore very fundmental topics of relationships (both familial and romantic), societal expectations, political power and the human psyche. In particular, there’s an amazing scene in the second book that is just so well written and immersive. It gives me shivers :)
Anastasia, because the animation is absolutely gorgeous, the story is beautifully heartbreaking at times, the songs are amazing and it doesn’t revolve around finding a love interest.
(Man I’m coming across as such a child; I guess I’m just nostalgic)
5. Who’s your bestie on the internet?
Ooh that’s cheating, putting me on the spot like that :P I’d have to say it’s a tie between not-your-number-one-enemy, addicted-to-obsession; and milverton; you’re all too awesome for words, putting up with my excessive ramblings, and you’re really fun to talk to :D Love y’all xxx
6. If you had 10.000 dollars in your country’s currency, in what would you spend it on?
That’d be £5000. I’d probably be really boring and either buy a car, pay for my sister’s uni accommodation or give it to my parents. If I was to be fun (and selfish), I’d love to book a trip round Europe and South East Asia :)
Then it’s got to be Jensen Ackles (less of a crush, more being madly in love with how perfect the guy is :P )
8. Mention something you can’t live without.
My over-the-ear headphones. When the world gets too noisy, I just put these on and blast some music, and everything’s perfect
Supernatural, Arrow, Elementary (and Sherlock, Doctor Who and Teen Wolf, but they’re not on atm so not really in the running).
10. If you could travel to any country in the world, which one would it be and why?
Spain, so I could visit Nadia <3 and see Barcelona again, because it’s a lovely city.
11. If you could live in any historic period, which one would you choose? Why?
I think there are flaws in most historic periods, particularly when it comes to human rights. I don’t know if this is historic per se but the 60s seemed to be a time of great change and antiestablishmentarianism (I finally got an opportunity to use that word!)
I just remember I did a quiz for this and got ‘Biblical times’ which is exceptionally vague and not really a historic period…I don’t know why I mentioned that then :|
