Ryukishi's writing on reread is such an experience because at times the foreshadowing laid there from the start hits like a chisel, at other times like a hammer and on rare occasions you wonder how you didn't see on first read the hydraulic press squashing you for 15+ minutes.

Reading And Then They Were None after umineko is really the experience of all time. Yeah ofc Ryukishi called Battler with the kanjis for warrior he's the favourite Little Soldier of Rokkenjima's very own U.N. Owen. Then he even added an actual military base on his Soldier Island.
