As i was collecting primary research images relating to the packaging of existing products, I noticed that a lot of the packaging was plastic and in pouch shapes, especially the quick/on the go style and the dried out whole grains.
I created the different shaped nets that are available to me at this point in the project and I have decided that the pillow pack is most likely to be the most suitable.
Having decided i began to manipulate the scale of the pillow pack to see if i could make it even more suitable to the products. At this point, I’m thinking that the shorter and fatter net might be more suitable as it will be more easily stacked on shelves and easily held in the hand.
I may also need to design a box for the packets to stand in because this design will not stand up alone.
