Ah crap. I dug my pin box out and apparently my plan for the box won’t work.
About two years ago for Christmas my parents bought me a pin box so I could display my pins. However, most of my pins are on my jean jacket, so I never got around to using the pin box.
Now that I have a good patch collection going, I’ve been really wanting to use some of my iron on patches, but my current jean jacket is nine years old, and I’ve never moved any pins off which is causing some holes to form. Which is why I’m thinking of getting a new jacket instead of adding any of my iron on patches because I would like to have a new jacket that isn’t falling apart.
Which brings me back to my pin box. I was going to take my pins off my jean jacket to store my pins away, and check the condition that my pins are in. However, it seems that I’ve been using my pin box as a storage container.
There’s a hat which I can put into one of my storage bins, but there’s also two art drawings that I just don’t have anywhere to safely store. A drawing of a flower that my grandmother drew and one of my 8th grade art that I love/hate. Well, guess my pins are staying on my jacket until I get a new one.
