I was scrolling through head canons I sent to my friends so here’s some of my favorite head canons I have for fma/fmab!

Alphonse occasionally opens the door for Edward and says “Ladies first”.

Alphonse loves lizards. He kept one for an hour before it ran away, then he started crying and Trisha had no idea why.

Alphonse easily gets sick

Alphonse is good at math, but sometimes he’s really bad at it

One time Winry asked Ed why he didn’t pour milk into his cereal and he poured in orange juice in his cereal out of spite (I got this hc from an anon)

Some people head canon Alphonse as trans, I don’t have the same headcanon but if he is trans, he’s t4t (totally not saying this bc im trans)

Pinako has a favorite between Ed, Al and Winry, and she’s very clear on who it is.

Pinako has pictures of herself when she was young, she has them hidden, and one time Ed found them and they get into a fight on whether or not it really is Pinako.

Alphonse can’t make apple pie for shit. He always tries and messes it up. So he buys apple pie from a store and shows it to Ed and Winry claiming to have made it.

Alphonse has cold feet and he refuses to wear socks.

When Alphonse gets his body back cats don’t like him as much as they used to, he often finds himself chasing stray cats trying to get their approval.

Sometimes Al used to (or uses) Edward as something to lean on, like shoulder rests.

Alphonse tries to cook and bake but he always makes a mess or ends up cutting his finger tip by accident. Though the finished product is always yummy!

Alphonse has some belly fat, and his tummy is the softest part of his body (aside from his hands)

Alphonse smells like the suns warmth.

Alphonse likes flowers, his favorites are cornflowers, mainly because of their name.

Alphonse doesn’t want kids but also finds himself wanting to babysit and take care of children, he just can’t see himself being a father.

Al definitely gets sleep now that he can, and he always yells at Ed when he stays up late. But Alphonse also stays up longer than he should just to eat sweets.

Pinako for headcanon ask?

Headcanon A:  realistic - Pinako is a genuinely famous automail mechanic and her work is incredibly well known. She had an illustrious career in her younger days and even though she’s earned more than enough to live comfortably for the rest of her life she continues to take on jobs here and there because she loves the work.

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious - Pinako has gone through a benjamin-button style life where she started small, got big, and is now becoming small again. She won’t leave a corpse behind when she dies, she will simply shrink into nonexistence and become one with the atoms holding the universe together. 

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends - Having to raise three young children on her own after her own children died horribly was extremely difficult for her both emotionally and physically, but she made sure she never let it show around the kids. The most relief she’d allow herself was to sit outside by herself at night smoking her pipe and just staring forwards.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own - Pinako is the most unshakable character in fma, literally nothing can take her off-guard. Her oldest friend who is also immortal is telling her to leave the country because something awful is gonna happen? Doesn’t care. Ed comes home carting three inhuman guests and asks if they can all crash in the basement for a few weeks? It’s gonna be cramped but alright. She’s lived a long time and seen a lot of shit and she’s sure she’ll end up seeing far more before she dies so no use making a fuss about it.
