Can I request Pina having a crush on a carnivore reader that brushes off his flirty and teasing remarks while also playfully teasing him as well
• Pina is used to riling carnivores up, it’s kind of his shtick. So when he finds out you don’t react and instead tease him back? He’s intrigued, and wants to press further.
• He really enjoys having someone to banter with, and the fact that you keep brushing off his flirtatious remarks just encourages him to become more creative. He’s used to not working too hard to impress his crushes, but you’re proving a challenge. He likes that.
• Expect him to act increasingly dramatic in order to get your attention. A strong carnivore like you can surely take time out of your day to help your poor little dall sheep friend and his increasingly ridiculous requests. After all, carnivores should help herbivores. Especially pretty ones. And he needs allll the help and protection he can get, obviously.

Heyy, uhm can you make some Pina x Playboy/girl reader, and he gets jealous that they're more popular or something similar. I feel like Pina is a very underrated character. If you can can you make the reader Gender Neutral?
ℼ He respects the hustle, but he’s the resident playboy! How dare you take his niche in the ecosystem?
ℼ Before you two become friends, as the king of petty, he’d comment on how your fashion is so last season to any of his admirers. And any of your designer stuff? Clearly fake too.
ℼ At first he won’t confront you, instead choosing to do passive aggressive attacks, but after a while he will be snarky to your face. This may turn into battles of sarcasm, and if you manage to hold your own you’ll earn his respect. After that he’ll chill out and be buddy buddy like nothing happened.
ℼ He eventually figures out his jealousy is due to liking you, and it’s a very foreign emotion to him. He’ll realize it’s somewhat hypocritical too. But once you two get together that’ll solve the problem and you both can be players together >:3

Thank you for doing my ask, about the female!reader who's a wolf in sheep's clothing (literally) for Bill and Pina! It was amazing and I loved it 💕 (especially the Pina one bc honestly,,, simp)
When you have time could you maybe do a part 2? Where the boys realise they maybe like the hybrid girl and how/if they try to ask her out? (I feel like Bill's initially thought process would consist of swearing exclusively bc how dare he like a half-herbivore lmao)
Keep being amazing! 💕
Part One
Thank you for waiting! I hope these are alright, and I sooo appreciate you messaging me again! You’re wonderful and I hope you have/had a great day.
Have some water, stretch your body, and have a smol snack

Pina
Pina was never one for nerves. Only in a few, special, rare cases did they ever get the better of him. The one time they came close was his encounter with Riz, but even then? He overcame them like a small stone in the road, passing it by like it was nothing more than a minor inconvenience. Pina was made of confidence.
So that’s why it was so difficult for him to wrap his mind around the fact he was tongue tied when speaking with you.
You’d been friends for a while. Pina kept your secret close to his chest, until you’d be ready to tell the world about it. He knew once you did, you’d feel liberated, and that he’d be there routing for you. Even so, he felt special knowing he was the only one you had told about your species. He felt connected to you in that way. It made your friendship stronger.
While your friendship had been growing, Pina’s relationships had come and gone. He dated a big chunk of the herbivores in your school, and had even made his way through a small chunk of the females in a neighboring school. It was actually pretty impressive, especially considering his reputation was well known. He was a play boy, and didn’t even bothering knowing most of the girl’s names. You’d hear about the drama that came from his promiscuity, and he’d dramatically drape himself over you and lament about the difficulty of names and keeping track of all of his paramours. You’d laugh and tease him.
He loved your laugh. He liked that when you laughed when it was just the two of you that you didn’t try hiding your fangs from him.
A few months ago Pina tried dating a few carnivores. They were all small breeds, so he was in no real danger. No one would be as dangerous as Riz, and Pina had no fear left for the bear. In fact, Pina and Riz became fast friends. So, dating carnivores wasn’t scary for him. At least it taught him how to kiss a carnivore properly. He had to admit, there was a thrill in being so close to an animal that had teeth that sharp.
He often thought of you when he reflected on such toothy kisses, and wondered if your teeth would be the same. He wondered if you’d have that same fire and heat when he kissed you, or if you’d be shy and meek like the herbivores he’d dated.
Dating quickly became boring for him, since everyone he kissed reminded him of you. It was like eating a low sugar cookie when you were expecting a real treat. It wasn’t satisfying.
“Why don’t you ask her out?” Pina’s dramatic tale about drama club, and how cute you had looked in your outfit was interrupted. Pina looked up from his phone, and gave Riz a pointed look. Riz...didn’t seem to care all that much about it. Nothing much phased Riz.
“What do you mean?” Pina brushed it off, and clicked to start his phone game again. Even through his muzzle, Pina could tell Riz was frowning at him.
“Pina,” Riz didn’t talk often, and didn’t have to. Pina was sued to filling up the verbal atmosphere with his own voice, and honestly did like to hear himself talk. Pina was also very good at talking to Riz, allowing the bear to say a few words and reading the paragraph of meanings behind each one.
Pina pouted, and the silence was only broken by the bubble pops of the mobile game Pina was using to keep his mind busy.
“I know, I know. You’re right,” Pina finally admitted, after a few more long moments of passing the game between himself and Riz. Riz just snorted, and in a swift set of moves, beat Pina’s highscore.
“She wont say no. If what you’re telling me is true, she’s going to be excited. Plus you already know her name, so what could go wrong?” Riz tried to tease Pina, but Pina’s head was full of doubt for the first time since he could remember.
-
The next day Pina waited until after the club got out. It had been another day of practice for the same play the club had done for years. Pina memorized it the first year, now he’s pretty sure he could write the whole thing without thinking.
“Hey! Wait a minute,” He slung his bag over his shoulder, trying to catch up with you. He didn’t take him long. Pina was pretty swift on his feet.
“What’s up? Did you want to walk together?” Your joy was written all over your face. Pina wished he could take your picture without looking creepy.
“I wanted to ask you something,” Pina straightened his uniform, tossing his longer wool back with as much drama as a movie. If he could fake the confidence, things would work out. He was sure of it.
“I was wondering if you’re free this weekend? There’s a new tea place, and I hear it’s good. I was hoping you and I could go there on a date?” His confidence didn’t waver, but he couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous.
“You’re not dating anyone else are you?” You deadpanned, not about to put yourself out there and be one of the who’s who of Pina’s dating partners. He must of not expected you to ask that, because he briefly began stumbling over his words.
“I-, no! No. It’d just be you and I,” He tried to recover, but his blunder had cut his prince charming persona back, reverting Pina to just...Pina. You liked it better that way.
“Then that sounds lovely,” Pina beamed, and seemed extra pleased with himself. He knew you’d say yes. What was he worried for? You two walked back to the dorms together, Pina already trying to convince you to wear matching outfits for the date.
Bill
“Pay attention!” A ruler slapped Bill’s desk, and he jumped, fur standing on end.
“Yes Ma’am!” He responded quickly, gaining a few chuckles from the students around him. He’d been daydreaming again. Bill quickly opened his notebook and began scribbling the last ten minutes of notes from the board to his paper, handwriting deteriorating every word he wrote.
If he could focus on his lessons, maybe he would stop thinking about you.
Bill didn’t even know when it happened. He’d just been spending time with you and the rest of the group during lunches. Then it turned to him just spending time with you and Els, making sure you two got to your dorms safely at night, and soon any other free time he had was feely given up to you when he had the chance. Bill didn’t even realize it, until Aoba made a comment on how Bill was missing his smarter half when you had to miss a day at drama club. Bill shot back a snarky remark but couldn’t say that he was mad about the idea that people saw you as his other half.
That was his ‘oh’ moment. That was the moment he realized that yeah, it did feel weird that you weren’t with him that day. It felt weird anytime you went missing for more than a few hours. Even Els wasn’t able to fill that weird little space you occupied.
Bill spent the next several weeks cursing himself.
Bill was a tiger! Bill was a carnivore near the top of the food chain. He could date any female tiger he wanted, and was one of the drama clubs stars! Why would he ever consider dating a hybrid? It didn’t matter how shiny your eyes were, or how soft your paws were, or that you smelled so good. Yeah, it didn’t matter at all. You didn’t even have stripes! All good tigers had stripes, they were the best quality on any animal.
He just had to focus on schoolwork and drama club.
The next several weeks Bill threw himself into drama clubs work, and his studies. Sure his grades got better, but doing so much extra work left him almost no free time. He barely saw Els these days, let alone you. In fact, it seemed like Bill was trying his best to avoid you.
As a canine, even just part canine, it was extremely hurtful.
“Bill!” Els stomped her tiny body in front of the tiger, and swiftly moved when he tried to avoid her. She was determined to block his path.
“Yeah?” He looked tired, frustrated, and his voice was a whole lot more gruff that it had been in the past.
“You look awful,” Bill just looked at Els, and it took more than a few moments for his brain to catch up to what she was saying.
“Hey! I look fine,” Els put his small hands on her hips. She didn’t break eye contact. “...Fine, I guess I do look a little rough. I could use a furcut,” He could also iron his pants and shirts. His uniform was wrinkly. Bill sighs and begins following Els, who had eyes filled with concern.
“What’s been with you? Did you and Y/N have a fight?” Els clasped her hands in front of her, nervously playing with her thumbs.
“What? No! No, we don’t fight...not seriously. She nags me a little, and I tease her, but we don’t fight,” Bill rubbed his face with his hand, and shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. Nah, the worst fight you two had gotten in only lasted a day, and it was over Bill being arrogant and a ‘giant asshole’. Bill had been the first one to apologize, which was very unlike him.
“Then why did you stop talking? Y/N seems really sad lately, and you look terrible too. It’s like you two broke up,” Did you look terrible? Maybe you did. Bill had been trying to avoid you, and any glances at you he took were brief. He felt guilty, sure, but it was for the best. The sooner he crushed these stupid feeling the sooner you two could pal around again.
“We can’t break up if we’ve never dated,” Not that you two would break up once you got together. Bill was pretty sure you’re one only one who could really put up with him in the long run. Els didn’t stop walking, but she gave him a disappointed look. It was almost worse than when she yelled at him.
“It’s not nice to play with a female’s feelings Bill,” He wasn’t trying to! He just, he didn’t know how to react to this.
“I’m not trying to. I just,” He looks around the empty hall, and leaned down near Els. “I like her, a lot. She’s awesome, but, she’s not a tiger. I don’t know how that would even work. I mean,” Bill exhales through his nose. Would his carnivore brain try to eat you? Given you were part sheep? Could you two even get physical with the size difference? Sure it wasn’t a big one, but still-
“Oh...” Els takes a moment to mull that over. “Well, you don’t know if you don’t try, right?”
“I don’t know Els-”
“Then you’ll have no right to complain if she dates someone else,” That stopped Bill in his tracks.
“What?” His voice got suddenly quite loud, and Els put her hands over her ears.
“Who’s she dating? Who likes her?Who asked her out?” Bill was tripping over his words, and for the first time in weeks it was like he had life back in him. Bill felt this strange fear creep in.
“No one, yet!” Els tried to use her big voice, and became flushed because of it. Why did Bill have to be so loud all the time? “But she will, eventually. She’s nice, and even if she is a hybrid that doesn’t mean she’ll stay single forever-!” Els looked up mid explanation, just to find Bill already halfway down the hall, having only half listened to what she was saying.
“Oh boy..”
-
Bill came around the corridor sharply, and jumped down the stairs like only a feline could. His moves belonged in a circus, and not a school, and a flustered Legom yelled that at him as he ran. He was on a mission. He had to find you can ask you out before whoever-it-was did!
“H-Hey!” He was out of breath, and caught you while you were walking back to your dorm. You turned, ears going flat against your head. You looked unsure of him, and part of Bill felt a little sick. He didn’t like when you looked at him like that. You were supposed to be excited to see him.
“Yeah?” Your voice was soft, and Bill looked at you for the first time in a long time. Your uniform was neat, but your fur was dull. Even your pretty eyes had lost a bit of the sunshine they previously seemed to hold.
“Do you wanna go out on a date with me?” Bill asked bluntly. You school bag slid partially off your shoulder in shock.
“What?”
“Will you go on a date with me? I know I’ve been avoiding you and stuff, but that’s only because I like you and I don’t know how to date hybrids but I was talking to Els and-,” He had to take a deep breath. “I wanted to ask you out before anyone else could.”
“...Bill...”
“Yeah?”
“You’re kind of an idiot. Do you know how counterproductive it is to avoid someone you want to ask out?” Your voice was stern, to the point.
“Oh,” You were going to turn him down.
“That being said, sure. If you start acting like yourself again. Being a reclusive nerd isn’t really your style and it’s kind of creepy,” Wait, what? You said yes? Well, you said sure but that was basically a yes!
“Y-yeah! I can do that,” Bill grinned, practically on cloud nine. You said sure, which was a yes! Bill may have reservations about dating hybrids, but he could date you. As long as it was you.
God this place is perfect for my hyperfixation on beastars (revived) you are doing gods work for my depressed ass-
If possible,
Louie, Pina and Haru headcanons for a relatively small carnivore? (Clouded leopard maybe?) Though I’m going to be more specific in the next row I encourage you to ignore the heck out of that, as I’m writing myself and seeing how another writer would take a spin on this. If you like my idea, go for it, if you wanna change it, go for it. What I’m saying is the stuff marked green is what I would like the general specifications to be.
Louie would probably hate the reader at first because they completely refuse any violence against herbivores, even if a herbivore where to attack them. Pina would probably hate the fact that he can’t have them, because the reader keeps thinking his advances are platonic and flat out rejects the idea of them being anywhere close to together other than friends. Haru likes the reader because they love to help her in the garden, but is conflicted because she sees the way they act around carnivores which is a lot more social and bubbly and rough, which Haru doesn’t like (being patronized).
This all happens just because the reader is insecure of the fact that they’re a carnivore, and wants to be delicate and lovable but suppressing her active side is causing some harm. It’s not that they’re being fake, it’s just that they’re hiding one side. The reader doesn’t feel worthy of herbivores.
IM VERY SORRY IF THIS IS TOO MUCH I JUST HAD THIS IDEA BUT WRITERS BLOCK- I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU TAKING THE TIME TO READ THROUGH THIS I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD DAY AND DONT OVERWORK YOURSELF
Have a banana 🍌:)
Sorry this took so long! Tumblr ate my draft and I got demotivated but here it is
Louis
♦ Personally, I don’t think Louis would mind little carnivores as much as big ones. They don’t feed into his complex into the same way that large carnivores do since they can’t do much damage. He’d likely not give the reader much of a hard time after he’s had character development, but in general he wouldn’t give them much thought.
♦ That being said, Louis has said that he hated felines more than canines before he warmed up to the Shishigumi, he’d likely stereotype the reader as a ‘scaredy cat’ or such and be short tempered with them, at least in the beginning. And the reader’s rolling over would piss him off more.
Pina
♦ Pina is pretty biased against carnivores so he’d likely tease the reader a lot, even moreso after he gets a feel they’re hiding their ‘carnivore’ side. I actually think Pina would take the reader’s rejections better than if they were a herbivore, as per his previous preconceived bias.
♦ He’d probably keep trying to provoke the reader into being his true self. Pina is too obnoxious for his own good around big carnivores, what’s to say he’d be able to control himself around little ones? Expect your patience to be tested. A lot.
Haru
♦ Haru likes being around other small animals, especially small carnivores somehow. Makes her feel that she isn’t alone, cuz hey, even carnivores can be small!
♦ She’s elated to have someone to help out in the garden, and even more elated to actually have someone she can call a friend. She’ll most likely let the way that you’re more bubbly around other carnivores slide because she somewhat understands and doesn’t want to jeopardize her only friendship. She’d probably bubble up her own feelings until you two got close enough where she could confront you.

The lack of Pina content on this site as a whole is literally a crime against humanity, in my humble opinion
Could I maybe please request a Pina and (fem, if that's okay) reader? Maybe a childhood friends to lovers thing? Or better yet, childhood friends to enemies to lovers? Whatever works better for you!
♦ Pina wasn’t always a womanizer, if that wasn’t obvious, but he was always sort of obnoxious(in an endearing way) and very blunt. When you were kids he easily made you laugh and always told you what you needed to hear. He got into all sorts of mischief and could sweet talk his way out of anything, and of course he took you along for the ride. Which adult could say no to his cute little face?
♦ As you grew up, however, Pina seemed to drift away. His previous lighthearted trickster nature seemed to grow into becoming full of himself, and you felt frustrated with him a lot of the time. You felt as though he saw himself as too good for you or took you for granted. He wasn’t always the best friend, often ditching you to go on dates and never being the one to ask you to go places. Rather than work things out he brushed off your concerns, so you cut him off.
♦ After some time passed and Pina did a bit of self reflection, he realized how much he had taken you for granted. He’s a bit awkward about apologizing, because he usually doesn’t do it. But he comes to you and says sorry in his confusing roundabout way, saying he’d like to hang out again sometime if you’d have him.
♦ As he spends more time with you, Pina realizes how much he missed having a female friend to just have genuine conversations with and not flirt with. He actually cares about what you have to say, and remembers your interests, which is not a courtesy he extends often. As you hang out more however, Pina feels surprised as he develops.... something? Feelings? For you? He sort of panics, which he doesn’t do often, because he’s afraid to lose you. After all, most of his relationships don’t last long for obvious reasons.
♦ Eventually, he realizes that he values spending time with you over his flings, and decides to ask you out. In a serious, almost careful manner, which is wholly not Pina. He doesn’t want you to think he’s joking or being faux flirty like he usually is, he actually wants to try things out and make things work. There’s a first for everything, eh?

Not me basically stalking this whole page bc like No OnE writes of Beastars and I'm starved
I love your writing honestly, thanks for doing God's works for us lmao 💕
When you have time could I request a sheep/wolf female reader (looks more like a sheep and only had wold teeth/ears) with Pina and/or Bill? Just like their initial reaction to them maybe and after they find out that she's technically a carnivore (even if she looks like a sheep)
Thank you!
Are you asking me to write for a wolf in sheep's clothing? Because it feels like you're asking me to write for a wolf in sheep's clothing and I am all about that life
Thank you so much! That makes my day ;-; I also got a bit carried away, so I hope it’s okay. Feel free to send again if I missed something!
Pina
“A new student?” Pina closed his locker, interest now fully on Els. Pina really hadn’t been listening that closely, but it wasn’t everyday the school got a new student.
“Yeah! A new girl. She’s a sheep,” Els continued, going over the very few details she knew. It wasn’t much, but she was still excited about it. As she continued to speak, she quickly checked her phone. Pina could tell by her sudden expression that it was later than she anticipated. She needed to get to class.
“Why are you telling me?” Els gave him a look while slinging her bag over her slim shoulder.
“Because you’re a total flirt! I don’t want you to make the school or the drama club look bad. I heard she may stop by the club after classes. Behave yourself, okay?” Pina just gave her a look as she retreated. He shook it off, he didn’t need some upperclassman lecturing him. It was well meaning, but when had anyone ever stopped Pina from doing what he wanted?
-
Your hand grips the handle of the door. You take a deep breath through your nose, letting it out through your mouth. You tried to anchor yourself, and prepare for the onslaught. Everyone at the school seemed really nice so far, but it wouldn’t take much for that to change.
“You’re the new girl, right?” You jump, pointed ear flicking as you turn on your heel in alarm. You hadn’t even heard the male walk up behind you. Were you that much in your head? Usually your instincts were better than that.
“Yeah,” Being a sheep meant you were pretty small, and it helped you talk to the ground so no one would see your fangs. You were really good at hiding them, you had to be.
“My name’s Pina, you are?” You looked up at him, taking note of his shining horns and wool that fell just right around his form. He looked like he walked out of a magazine.
“O-Oh! Y/N,” You offered a small closed mouth smile. Pina didn’t stop looking you over. Your alarm bells went off. There was definitely something up with him. Did he know? Usually people just assumed your ears were deformed or you were just bad at managing your wool which is why there were so fluffy. Was it your eyes? Your hands? You trimmed your claws between classes, so by all accounts you looked like an herbivore.
“Nice to meet you. Don’t look so worried, pretty much everyone is tolerable,” He reached past you and walked in, letting you follow after.
-
You’d been going to drama club for a while. Thankfully for you, everyone was super nice, if not al little eccentric or weird. It at least gave you a solid friend base, if nothing else. You often would eat with some of the members. Sheila even introduced you to another sheep named Peach. Though, more often than not, you’d find yourself with Pina at some point during the day. You had no idea how it happened, it always just...did. You had suspicions he had somehow orchestrated running into you.
“What class are you studying for?” He tried to peek over at your book, having managed to peel his eyes away from his phone that pinged every few moments with messages, no doubt from the possibly many girls he had been dating.
“Science,” He looked immediately disinterested, going back to his phone. He started texting again, at a speed most cheetahs would find impressive, but he continued to try and carry a conversation with you.
“Okay, I have to ask. What’s your deal? Why did you transfer, and why did you end up in drama club?” Pina’s words would have been accusatory, or pointed, but his tone was so casual it was like he was asking about the weather.
“My deal?” You froze, and tried to casually turn the page, but you had stayed still a few moments to long. You didn’t have to look over to know Pina was now leaned over, waiting.
“Your deal. Like, Legoshi is a pervert, Sheila used to be a dominatrix or something...No one normal as you usually joins. So, what’s your deal? You’re so...normal,” You hands closed your book with a thunk! You adjust on the bench to turn over and look back at him, scooting away just a smidge.
“Promise you wont say anything?” You looked serious, but Pina was unaffected. Instead he tapped his chin, seeming to think hard about it.
“Sure, why not?” He smiled, that same charismatic smile that he had perfected. You didn’t know if it was genuine, but his words were. Pina was a flirt, but he wasn’t known for spreading or telling rumors. Plus, he was your friend, even if you didn’t know how you ended up being friends in the first place.
“Well, I’m not a sheep, at least...not all sheep,” As you spoke, he leaned in, curiosity getting the better of him. His phone was now long forgotten, and not even the chirping from text alerts took his gaze away from you. You glanced around while mulling how to say what you need to say in your head. The coast was clear.
“I look like a sheep but, I’m also half wolf,” As your spoke, you didn’t hide your fangs, and actually went out of you way to adjust your more pointed ears.
“Woah,” You waited for the fallout. Waited for his expression to turn to disgust, or for him to ask if your wolf parent ate your sheep one. You wanted for all of the normal questions that came with the confusion and ager from finding out you were a hybrid, but it never came.
“So that’s why you’re weird looking,” You shot a glare his direction. At least he was honest.
“Yeah, I guess...So, you wont tell anyone?” Pina leaned back.
“Nah I wont tell anyone about you, as long as you don’t chew on me at practice,” he shoots you a smile. This one seemed actually honest.
“Thanks...I really appreciate it”
“No problem. Can I ask another question?”
“Sure, I guess,” You suddenly felt much more relaxed. It was like a weight had been lifted.
“Do you classify as a carnivore or an herbivore? I’ve never met a hybrid before,” You blinked, and fiddled with the corner of your book.
“Carnivore, technically. I have to take supplements since I’ve been eating the herbivore lunch. It’s not balanced for me”
“Oh! Well, that sucks,” He laughed and grabbed his phone again. “Just order the food you want. I’ll can always get you one, or ask Bill to get an extra. Or Legoshi, they’d get one for you,” He was so casual about it, you almost had to pinch yourself.
“Hey Pina?”
“Yeah?”
“Thanks...for being so nice about it.”
“No problem. You can’t help who your parents are, plus you’re more interesting than over half the school. It’d be a waste to stop hanging out with you over something so stupid.”
----
Bill
“New student?” Bill held the door open for Els who snuck by, holding her bag. They’d just got done at drama club, and Els was eager to talk about the new student their director told them about. Supposedly she was a transfer from another school. The details weren’t specific but they were all pretty excited. Having someone from a new school could offer new perspectives, which could be great for the drama club.
“Yeah. She sounds like she could fit right it,” It’d be nice to have another girl in drama and another herbivore. After the incident with Tem, some herbivores were still cautious about carnivore students, so it was exciting this new girl was joining an interspecies club out of the gate.
“I hope so. Just gotta make sure Pina doesn’t do anything overwhelming, we don’t need that kind of drama,” Bill did not need Pina to flirt with the new girl, and go and forget her name. Bill was honestly one to talk, but that was beside the point.
“Well, we’ll get to meet her tomorrow!” Els smiled, and they waved goodbye to one another. She was in high spirits, and with a shove of her shoulder let herself into her dorm room.
“See you tomorrow Els!” Bill waved and went to his dorm. A new girl huh? He wasn’t thrilled at the idea of more Herbivores to look after, but if they were even a fraction as cool as Els, they couldn’t be to bad.
-
You took a deep breath, and your hand gripped your school bag tightly. You grabbed the door of the drama room and pushed it. It was a bit stuck, but nothing major. You did pretend to struggle with it in order to fit the persona you were following of being a basic herbivore. No one had to know about the fact you had a carnivore parent.
“Hello! Sorry I’m late! I got a bit lost,” You walked in, smiling carefully, avoiding showing any teeth. Your slightly longer and fluffier ear twitched. Most students just thought it was some sort of deformity, and were polite enough not to talk about it.
“Welcome!” A goat ran up to you, and quickly introduced herself. It took very little time for you to be introduced to everyone else. They all seemed nice, friendly. Juno and Els were quick to sweep you away from a flirty and curious Pina, and show you the ropes and the possible areas you could end up.
“This big guy is Bill, don’t worry, he’s not as big of a jerk as he likes to pretend to be,” Els fondly pat the large tiger on the arm, and he just gave you a smile.
“Nice to meet you,” Bill smiled your direction, but there was a moment where the look in his eye turned briefly to confusion, but it went back to normal almost as quickly as it came.
“Nice to meet you too!” Maybe it was your imagination. Yeah, your imagination.
-
Drama was really fun. Everyone was supportive, if not a bit quirky. Even out of drama club, they tended to stick together. Els, Sheila, as well as Juno, tended to stick close with you. Thanks to them, it wasn’t difficult for you to find a close group of small and honest friends. That also included Bill, on rare occasions. He stuck mainly with carnivores, but the rare times you were alone, he’d slide next to you.
“Hey, you doing okay?” He had two meals in his hand. You wondered if he was meeting someone.
“Yeah, I’m doing alright!” You set your supplements down. He eyed them for a moment and motioned with his head.
“It’s nice outside, we should go enjoy the rest of the evening,” You sat confused, but decided to follow him. Bill carried those two trays out and somehow still held the door for you.
“Thanks, but why do you wanna eat outside?” You sat on a bunch, setting your try on your lap, and you opened your drink to take your supplements. When people asked, you told them they were just additional vitamins.
“So you could eat this instead,” He offered the second tray he had been holding. You looked at him confused.
“Why?” It was the carnivore lunch tray. You were a sheep, as far as anyone knew.
“Because taking supplements suck,” He sat down, and offered the second tray again, “Take it, I want to eat my food too, kinda hard to do that with my hands full,” You set your other food aside, and took the offered tray,
“So, you know?” Bill shrugged. He didn’t seem that worried about it.
“Yeah. To be fair, Aoba figured it out first. He happened to see you yawn one day, spotted your fangs. Aoba has really good eyes, being a eagle and all. We figured you didn’t want anyone to know so we haven’t asked you about it,” You freeze. If Aoba knew, who else did?
“Aoba knows?” You looked shocked. You thought you had been so careful!
“Yeah. Don’t worry about it. Only Aoba, Els, and I know. We didn’t want to bug you about it, but it’s been bugging me, watching you take those pills all the time. It’s better to just eat what you need instead of eating salads and hoping your “Vitamins” even it out. If you’re part carnivore, have some pride in it,” He spoke between eating. You were surprised, he seemed so okay with it.
“Oh,” You didn’t know what to say. No one had treated you different, everyone was still super nice.
“Promise you guys wont tell anyone?” You finally picked up your utensils, and began eating the lunch you should have been getting from the beginning. It was really good, but maybe that was just because it came from someone who accepted you.
“Promise. We stick together, you’re one of us now,” He jokingly shoved your thin shoulder with his own, grinning.
“So, what are you mixed with?” Bill asked, his food all but gone. How did he eat so much so fast?
“Sheep and a wolf,” He laughed.
“Oh boy, I bet that must be a story,” He laughed, and you would bet he was trying to picture how that happened.
“Yeah,” You kept eating, finally relaxing. You didn’t even know you were tense.
“If you ever need anything you can ask me, okay? Like I said, we all kind of stick together. I don’t mind buying extra food for you so you can avoid taking those pills,” He looked away, scratching his cheek. You got the feeling he wasn’t used to being sincere or so outwardly nice. It wasn’t a surprise, he frequently played the tough guy.
I was trying to imagine what he'd study after school and thought of this
Pina going to one of those university fairs where they show off their majors and classes with reader and they bond over not knowing what they want in the future
Make it as angsty or as lighthearted as you wish lol
The anime made me love Pina so I hope I did him service, it’s been a while since I watched it.
♦ Pina masks his uncertainty and possible anxieties with being as carefree as possible. College is no exception. He already knows himself well, and he knows that he’s gonna slack on coursework and spend his time flirting with all the new females he’ll get to meet. (Weirdly enough, parties and frats aren’t his thing.)
♦ The point is, if he’s just gonna sleep around then why bother really thinking about what he wants to do?
♦ He makes fun of a lot of the majors and classes and talk about how miserable or boring beasts in those majors must be, he looks like he doesn’t care at all.
♦ He’ll definitely make sure to get a few laughs out of the reader with various stereotypes about how business majors are snobby or how computer science majors are greasy, it’s his specialty. If he finds that you have an interest in a major he’ll poke fun at you but won’t discourage you. After all, he does hope that you’re one of the ‘smart’ people who figures it out instead of the lackadaisical wanderers like him.
♦ He doesn’t want you to know that it scares him, so he pretends it’s exactly how he wants things to be. Go with the flow, yaknow?
