Pineapple Passion
There once was a kitchen with magical fruits and veggies. They formed arms and legs and could talk. Passionfruit had been in the kitchen for a while when, one Friday night, the humans brought home some groceries. A pineapple emerged from the bag. "Hi I'm a pineapple," said Pineapple. "What are you?" "I'm a passion fruit, duh" said Passion Fruit. And so Pineapple and Passionfruit became fast friends, and they talked all night.
The next morning, Pineapple asked Passionfruit if it wanted to go take a walk around town. Passionfruit accepted the pineapple's invitation. And so Pineapple and Passionfruit walked through Chinatown and grabbed something to eat. Then they frolicked and played in the park.
That night at sunset, Pineapple and Passionfruit were standing on a bridge that was overlooking the river. They were talking. "You know, tomorrow is not promised," said Pineapple. "The humans can take any one of us at any given time." "I hope we go together," said passionfruit.
The next morning, the humans took a kitchen knife and began slicing into pineapple. "Pineapple, noooo," said passionfruit as it started over to the other side of the counter to try and save pineapple when a gr@pefruit held it back. "Have you lost your neck?" gr@pefruit asked it. "Those humans can make a fruit salad out of you both".
Passionfruit cried as it watched pineapple being sliced into rings. That night, Passionfruit was still visibly upset. "Pineapple was the only one I ever loved," said passionfruit. "I'll never love anyone like Pineapple." "You'll always remember the good times you had with Pineapple," said an apple. A bunch of bananas was in agreement.
The next morning an orange emerged from the fridge with a human. "You know, pineapple is still in the fridge in a tupperware container and if you're lucky you may find its skins and top in the garbage Freezer tape is in the drawer," said the orange. "Unfortunately this is the last of me, but I thought you should know". Passionfruit dug into the garbage and found all of pineapple's skins and top. It then went into the fridge and grabbed pineapple and the Tupperware container. A few slices of it were missing.
Passionfruit began to tape pineapple's rings together and then its skins and top. "Pineapple, talk to me, are you ok?" asked passionfruit. Pineapple was weak and disoriented. "I-I'm fine," said Pineapple. "We gotta get out of here before they eat more of you and do any more damage," said passionfruit. And so they left the kitchen and spent the rest of their days on the beach. The end!
