Ya know...

Whenever people talk about how sad it is that Sidon will outlive link and try to work around it I see a severe lack of people mentioning the age reversing thing Purah made. Can’t he just use that once he starts to age to a less than agile age? I mean its not like they can’t use it anymore…

It also be funny to see Link get aged back too far and having to have Sidon take care of tiny brat Link while Purah finishes the age up device… I dunno, i’m weird.

Sidlink Headcannon #3

Some ideas on a (kinda) domestic life with Link and Sidon before moving in with each other. When Sidon visits Link in Hateno he takes the long journey from Zora River all the way to Lake Jarrah and walks the rest if the way. By the time he gets there he is usually tired, but hides it to spend more time with Link. At night he sleeps in the small basin of water in Link's backyard, sometimes Link even sets up a little sleeping mat under the big tree to be closer to him. He's willing to put up with some mosquito bites to share the night with Sidon. The residents of Hateno are always very welcoming to Sidon, bringing him small gifts like fish. Link makes breakfast for Sidon whenever he's there, usually waking him up and calling him in with a sing-songy "Yaaaah!~" out his window. Breakfast is usually just simple omelettes, eggs and rice, but usually contains fish in some way from how many they get from the villagers. Sidon is too tall to sit in the tiny Hylian sized chair so he just sits on his knees at the table. They usually talk about what has been going on in their corners of the world, like an innocent with a kid an cucco or a new Zora diving record, simple things. Link has the Lightscale Trident displayed in his house, he never really used it except once or twice. He just felt it wasn't ment to be used by him, that it was more respectful to Mipha that it didn't get tarnished by Link's use of it. (Whoo, this is a bit longer than I expected) When Link visits Sidon he has a much easier time getting there, just by warping he cuts several hours off of Sidon's travel time. They spend their days walking around the domain or going swimming when Sidon isn't busy. At night, Sidon added a Hylian bed to his quarters, a few feet from his sleep pool. Being a more comfy water bed link tends to sleep in, Sidon waking him with a playful splash from his pool. They get into splash fights a lot because Link can be a bit of a grump when it comes to rude awakenings (hur hur link's awakening hur hur). The Zoras are ALWAYS welcoming to Link with open fins, while the elders may not approve of his relationship with the Prince most others see them as a great couple, while some are jealous of him. The King, while a bit surprised by them, supports them as well, joking about Link being the next Zora King. All of the attention tends to make Link feel uneasy of making mistakes but really no one minds him making a blunder. On days Sidon has no pressing duties they go out and joke around in the lakes and rivers. Whether it be target practice on Zora back, or seeing who can catch the biggest Hylian Bass (Sidon always wins of course) its just a nice way for them to be together and not worry about anything but themselves for a short while.

Link getting so excited to meet up with Sidon in the domain he bolts at him at full speed, but because his boots are so filed down from climbing mountains he slips on the damp floor and crashes into Sidon at such force he knocks him over.

They are embarrassed as fuck, but all the witnesses just think it’s adorable.

Link feeling down and depressed walking around Hateno and Sidon just runs up out of nowhere and pelts him with inspirational words and compliments in front of everyone.
