A tasty and refreshing drink made with pineapple, apple cider vinegar, sage, and honey. The pineapple adds a tropical sweetness to the drink, while the apple cider vinegar and sage add a slight herbal note.
Ingredients: 1 cup pineapple chunks. 1 cup apple cider vinegar. 1/2 cup honey. 8-10 fresh sage leaves. Club soda, for serving. Ice cubes, for serving.
Instructions: Put pineapple chunks, apple cider vinegar, honey, and sage leaves in a jar. Put the lid on the jar and leave it at room temperature for two to three days. Shake it every now and then. Put the mixture through a fine mesh sieve and press down on the solids to get all the liquid out. Get rid of the solids and put the shrub in a clean jar. Put ice cubes in a glass to make the drink. Add two to three tablespoons of the shrub to the ice. Add club soda on top and stir it in slowly. If you want, you can add a fresh sage leaf as a garnish. Serve right away and enjoy!
