27. What’s the nicest comment you’ve ever received?

Oh wow. Catch me just scrolling through my comments trying to answer this one like, "oh, this one!" "No, this one!" Honestly, I'm so compromised by the kindness offered to me in comment form that I couldn't possibly pick. But I think the ones that make my heart go pitter-patter the most are when people tell me they stayed up all night reading because they couldn't put it down, or that they read it during their work break/on the bus/at the dinner table. It makes it all feel real.

29. Have you ever gone outside of your comfort zone for a fic? How did it turn out?

I answered this one here. But I'll go further and say Quicksilver and Phoenix Fire had a restricted word count (+ a very specific prompt) and that's the hardest shit I've ever dealt with! I didn't realize how challenging it would be to not write a million words. I have 0 restraint.

“I didn’t want to pressure him.” I sighed, feeling my anger drain in that small action. “He has so much going on in his life. I didn’t want to—”

“Didn’t want to be an inconvenience.” Pansy’s face was knowing as she spoke. “I understand Draco, I really do. But we’ve made our amends, we’ve both changed. You’re already friends with him, you can tell him you fancy him without making it weird.”

“He’s just had such a hard life already. Surely he can do better than an ex-Death Eater.”

Pansy’s eyes narrowed. “Don’t talk about my best friend like that,” she said. “Besides Ginny says she’s pretty sure he’s halfway in love with you as well.” She snickered. “He’s just too dense to realise it.”

I ran my hand through my hair in distress. “He can’t be.”

Pansy made a shoo-ing motion. “Go talk to him,” she said. “You’re just stressing me out and I don’t want any wrinkles because you can’t get your life in order.”

Um, top five books and/or movies (excluding HP) 😘😘

Hello my lovely! God I haven’t read a book that wasn’t for academic purposes in ages 🙈 can’t find 5 to save my life, but Peter Pan, The Lord of the Rings and CMBYN are probably the top 3! As for movies, like the predictable bitch I am, these are my choices in no particular order:

1. Spirited Away

2. Lord of the Rings

3. CMBYN

4. Before Sunrise

5. Inception

I had to go smart and cut off animation (except Miyazaki because he’s an icon and SA is my top fave, don’t @ me) and comfort movies or this would get longer 😂

Omg I was today years old when I learned the cursed fact that Noah Reid played Franklin Turtle on the animated show Franklin. My brain immediately went "Thanks! I hate it!" and I just wondered if this was common knowledge and I'm just new to SC fandom? Is it something we don't talk about (I.e. fight club)? Am I in a fever dream where 10 year old, squeaky voiced Noah now exists? Anyway, just wanted some comfort in these trying times. Warmest Regards

i would say it’s fairly common knowledge for anyone who’s been around the fandom for a bit, yeah, but i also get asks from people who have just discovered that fact every few weeks or so. you’re def not alone! :)

he actually did quite a lot of voice acting when he was young, so in addition to franklin, you may have also heard him on babar, rolie polie olie, a couple eps of the magic school bus, etc.
