I’m hoping the tumblr community could lend me a hand in the search for an old post. I’ve been desperately searching through my dashboard (I’m on page 2087, and seeing posts from October 2018 with no luck) for a post related to the following meme:

Someone had written a beautiful response to the image explaining why this meme is a perfect expression of the frustration felt with the situation: how the planned action changes from being done under the doer’s autonomy/thoughtfulness/good intentions to being done under the orders/control/credit of the other person. It was an eloquently written response, and I’m in a situation where it would be extremely helpful to share it irl.
