Just like to ask again since you did said that you'll be able to answer this once you leave Japan, why are there multiple doors in P3 Velvet Room?

I read it up in the Club Book and according to Igor, it seems these doors symbolize the mind of people with the potential to enter the Velvet Room currently in the world. So there were other possibilities aside from Makoto who just never entered a contract, I guess...

I wonder if one of the doors was for Aigis...

Why are there so many doors in P3's Velvet Room in comparison to Persona 4?

The Velvet Room is said to change depending on the Destiny and number of its current guests. It's an actual room in P1, P2 and PQ, when there's more than just one guest, it's an elevator in P3, when the guest's destiny is to "ascend" and is a Limousine in P4, when the guest's destiny is "to search a path". 

Naturally, this doesn't explain why only in P3, there are multiple doors inside the Velvet Room, but this may be related to Makoto's Psyche. It may be a hint of the fact that he's housing more than one being inside him, though, that's just my interpretation. I actually think the P3 Clubbook had some things written on the doors, but since I left that book back in Austria, I won't be able to check on the information until 3 days from now, if you can wait~

I am a mod from a facebook fanpage and am starting a "Persona Lore Daily Post" in which I post different concepts in the game that the common players don't know. Currently, I posted something about Persona Summoning and Evokers. Someone asked, if summoning requires fear that is exerted by a gun being point in your head, wouldn't the fear be diminished if it used time and time again?

Yes, it’s true, the primal terror that triggers the persona summoning initially grows weaker over time, however, from what I can gather, people get more and more adept at willingly calling forth their Personas, so this adrenalin-kick becomes less relevant anyway. The Persona 3 Clubbook, which *is* Canon, also states that the Evokers aren’t just gun-shaped, but they also contain small Plumes of Dusk, in order to artificially create a connection to the Collective Unconscious. This is actually what is more relevant to Persona Summoning in the end, because creating a link to the collective unconscious in the waking, real world is usually exceedingly difficult (though, not impossible. Mitsuru mentions being capable of it when she concentrates very intensely.) 

So yes, the terror aspect diminishes, but it’s no longer needed once your adept enough at tapping into the part of your psyche that your Persona represents willingly. The Plume of Dusk in the Evoker will then do the rest.

Rant on the whys of the Let's Play

Let’s play? Is that a playthrough or something? if so, don’t. There are tons of playthroughs out there… Just play the game and have fun :)

The "Let's Play"  as a title for playthroughs has been used for what feels like ages. I know I was at least in early high school -so 5+ years ago- when I saw the term first, but that was also about the time my parents took off a parental control program on the computer I use. I remember for a fact I was watching LPs of American McGee's Alice that were a couple of years old on Youtube. And it hasn't entirely fallen out of use because I know several channels, blogs, etc that still use the term. So not unheard of term to say the least.

I know there are a lot of playthroughs. Its an older game for more recent consoles and been re-released in a format that allows current gen systems play it. I'm not really adding anything new to the water, besides some more water. Anyways, its this or "game designer criticism," as one of my professor calls it. And oh do those criticisms get dry and confusing. And really aren't great blog things. Just the section I've already played and written? I've had to do criticism papers that are somewhere between the same to twice the length of what Part 1 is, for the same amount of time played.

Just to understand, I am an artist in many senses of the word. I currently am going to university to study theatre and game design. I am taught to dissect media to shreds, understand why I do and do not like something, to improve what I do myself. I have to write many a paper criticizing and analyzing plays, musicals, opera, shooter, adventures, puzzles, casuals, etc and have a discussion almost every class just on the analysis of the media that class focuses on. Sometimes (very rarely) the piece is picked by me, most of the time by the professor. So a fun deconstruction of that behavior? Is a blast to have and makes me not want to kill a professor or classmate for the amount of work I normally do. It is me trying to get closer to a normal as far as my media consumption is. Its why I talk throughout movies when I'm at home, I keep gum and something to twidle with finger in my purse or pocket when I go to playhouses, actually almost follow the guidelines for time spent on games as to when to step away. Because otherwise I can't enjoy it, I can't have fun.

So, fun to write and at least passing amusement to read vs painful for all? Going to go with what I'm currently doing.

Not really. Your complexion as well as physical appearance gave me a hint. Good to know that there are other Filipino persona fan out there :)

Hmm, that's admittedly strange, as no one has ever made that conclusion based on my physical appearance and complexion. People often call me light-skinned (or "maputi" as our language goes), as well as identify me as an East Asian (Chinese being the most common) rather than someone of Filipino origin when they see how I look.

...That is, until they hear me speak. My accent's rather distinct and rings Filipino as I grew up here in the Philippines, so there's no doubt about it then.

Hmm, there's a good number of Persona fans here in the Philippines, though most of the people I know who are familiar with the game are rather casual about their interest. It's not often I run into someone who shares the same amount of passion as I do, though. In any case, yes, they're out there. You just need to know where to look! <:
