Emmy's App for Piper
[ OOC ]
Name/alias: Emmy Age: 17 Timezone: EST Activity level [ don’t just give numbers ]: 7/10 just because of school, but I go on vacation next Friday for the holidays. Further contact [ personal, skype, etc. ]: Castalia’s account. Anything else: just that you guys are doing an amazing job
[ IC ]
Have you read the rules? Password?: You killed my fish
Desired character: Piper Winston
Secondary choice: If I don’t get her, I’ll just stick with Castalia.
Anything you want to change or add?: Nope.
Why do you want this character?: I think Piper’s background is quite interesting considering how her parents were basically complete opposites of one another. Also, I’d like to play a character who has no affiliation with any of the covens because I think that they have a lot of potential and could be wavered either way, which makes it fun.
Para sample [ IC, third person, minimum three paragraphs ]:
Butterflies fluttered around in Pipers stomach as she entered the worn down building. When she had first be introduced to the old, warehouse and it’s inhabitants, she had been excited. The years of looking up myths and other local folklore seemed to have all been worth it. She had been so happy when she had met Adina and she had told her about this place. That her twisted curiosity could be satisfied and Piper had easily packed up her things and moved. The sect had welcomed her easily and told her that she was welcome to stay as long as she wanted to, and Piper took them up on that offer. She ended up staying for a few months, enjoying watching the small group of vampires interact and go about their daily business as if she was a fly on the wall. It had been exciting.
When the idea and the offer of her turning into a vampire was proposed, she had jumped at the chance. The idea of becoming what she was so interested in and knew so much about seemed exciting and adventurous. A life she knew she wouldn’t exactly get if she lived with either her mother or her father, but more her father. They had easily set the date and now it was here.
Though, She couldn’t help but feel nervous as she moved into the dark hallways. Her palms were sweating and her eyes darted around at every sound she heard. Moving into the main floor where the group used it as a gathering room, Piper shifted on her feet nervously.
"Are you ready, Piper?" The red haired woman Piper had come to know as Maria. She swallowed.
"I don’t know about this." She mumbled rubbing her hands together.
A look of anger passed over Maria’s face and before Piper knew it, she was right in front of her.
"I’m going to give you the gift of immortality. What I’m giving you is a gift, Piper. It should be cherished. You should be happy and pleased that I am giving this to you." Maria spoke calmly, but Piper could see how angry she was.
"I’ve changed my mind. I don’t want to be a vampire. I don’t want to be immortal. I’ll just go grab my things and I’ll be out before you know-"
Before Piper could even finish her sentence, Maria had grabbed her and she could see the sharp, needle like fangs that protruded from the leaders mouth. A scream of fear escaped Pipers mouth as she struggled against Maria’s grasp, but she wasn’t any match for the thousand year old vampire.
"No, please, I don’t want to be a vampire!" Another scream ripped and echoed against the bare walls of the warehouse as Maria easily bit her own wrist and forced it into Pipers mouth.
Piper struggled and tried not to swallow the blood that was being forced into her mouth, but Maria had the upper hand. She easily pinched Piper’s nose and waited for Piper to give in and give up. There was no way she could change the inevitable now.
