Another ramble PerLace fanfic heh enjoy <⁠(⁠￣⁠︶⁠￣⁠)⁠>

The two bards were at a tavern somewhere. Had a couple of drinks here and there.

Soft, gentle notes drifted through the room as Soulace sat by the bar counter, tavern lights spilling over him, while he was completely focused strumming melodies on his lyre.

And sitted next to him was a half drunk Piper (Lol)“You know,” Piper started casually his voice a bit slurred, “if you keep looking that dazzling while playing, I might start charging you for distracting me.”

Soulace’s fingers slipped on a note.“…I’m the one playing,” he muttered.“Yeah,” Piper hummed, walking closer, “and I’m the one suffering.” Soulace didn’t look back. “From what?”

“Severe admiration.”

Soulace's grip on his lyre tightened a bit. (He's doing it again. Nope! Soulace don't you dare melt. Not in this tavern you cant)

"Ahem.." Soulace tried adjusting his bowtie (?), his expression calm—trying his best to brush it off. “If you’re going to flirt, at least be good at it.”

Piper hiccuped and grinned (he almost looks like a drunk Cheshire cat). “Oh? You think you can do better?”

Soulace suddenly leaned closer. "You know what else is dazzling?"Piper—who was expecting Soulace to melt from the teasing as usual—was suddenly caught off guard.

(Okay Soulace here's your chance. Land the hit!) Soulace leaned closer, "Your stunning ruby eyes" then he flicked his hat a bit before straightening his posture and taking a sip from his drink. (LETS FREAKING GOOOO)

Perlace

for those that don't know, Perlace is a non-canon pairing of Soulace (My OC) and Piper (@avianic-draws 's OC) Originally I had no plans on showing off this ship as I suffer with social anxiety and therefore have a massive fear of judgement, this caused me to believe that if i were to post about what I had been referring to as Piperlace at the time it would be cringe and/or I'd make V uncomfortable (hence why it was kept a secret) Eventually, I got a question about it iirc and that's when I revealed it with like 1 piece of art. and then BOOM uhh Callmerevereee chose to name Perlace! now a days i'm a bit more comfortable about posting this type of stuff without too much anxiety i should mention this happened all within a month of existence. So uhh here's some random shipart I made until now

(oh yeah i sometimes draw Soulace bald, sometimes i have it as an optional variant.. so yeahh......)
