Inspired by @silkoodles Disney High AU, where James Hook was in a serious relationship with Zarina Dustkeeper but had left her before she could tell him she was pregnant. Years later, they met up and she confessed that their son had been given up to the Neverland Orphanage and had been adopted by one of the former sisters, Tinker-Bell, and named Peter.
Now James has constant dreams of what could have been, but despite the momentary sadness he always has his adopted son Jake to remind him that his life is just as perfect as it was now.
