I had an existential horror moment happen to me today: I basically fucking stopped breathing for a moment and if my wife hadn't literally slapped the shit offa me, I wouldn't be writing to you rn. ---- I don't fucking know what happened, man! How do you go from being fine to literally your body shutting down on you and being unable to breathe by yerself? It literally felt like somebody flicked an "OFF" switch in my body and I just... stopped. Again: What. the fuck? ---- I'm scheduling a doctor's appointment for this weekend because by jove: I did not expect that at all. I hope it never happens again See you (hopefully) tomorrow!

Dumb stuff that no one ever tells you about: It's okay to do *stupid shit. A good chunk of your life you will do incredibly stupid shit on the reg. It's fine, do the stupid shit. Learn from the stupid shit. Embrace the stupid shit if it's something that seems fun. ---- Just make sure to learn from the stupid shit periods in your life. Yes, you're probably going to regret some things from those periods, but y'know what? Don't lose sleep over 'em. Even if, in retrospect, it seems as though you "wasted your time", if the stupid shit left you with something, it wasn't entirely meaningless. ---- Kinda wish that in so many places, doing stupid shit didn't lead to such a punishing aftermath, but listen: You can only deprive yourself from doing things for so long. Get your stupid ON early so that you can look back and point at your past self and go "LMFAO, WHAT WAS I THINKING?!". Your soul will thank you for it.
