i absolutely love annabeth's mischief and sass in the books, like. "you drool in your sleep", "seaweed brain" ARE YOU KIDDING she's so funny and adorable, and with the powers at her disposal she is just better fit to be a menace

that hat is super useful, but percy realizes quickly that she uses it for evil often - like, sneaking up on him to scare him or tickle him!!! he always tries to hold it together but she goes for his ribs or his back and he's squealing out loud and whoever he's talking to is like ???? and annabeth won't even take the hat off and reveal herself, she'll just sneak away again so it makes percy look crazy lmfao

-trans!nico and bianca being in the lotus hotel for what felt like a month to them, and in that time, nico coming out as trans to his sister.

-hades being a lazy piece of shit and not checking up on the siblings during or after their stay at the lotus hotel; thus not noticing nico had cut his hair or started binding.

-it taking FOREVER for nico to get claimed because hades remembers having two daughters so he doesn’t give nico a second thought

He does this by giving her gifts every morning (flowers, coral, sea shells), calling her beautiful when she least expects it (which is always, it’s either he whispers it in her ear or when he’s calling for her from far away), etc.

Sally Jackson fawns over her by calling her sweetie or honey

‘Lil Jackson gets away by calling her Annie (She just can’t say no to Percy’s sibling)

Paul just need to say, “I’m proud of you”
