Well, that look long enough to finish our Reaction Video to [S] Caliborn: Enter.

So I just realized that I had completely forgotten that 2 days ago was my 2 anniversary of being a Homestuck.

My very first update came on 6/12/10, and it was Jade's Imp Strife. That was the day just after I'd caught up. I had begun reading just after [S] Jade: Enter had been put up.

My brother, plainWonder/abundantChewtoys, has been a Homestuck since right before Homestuck began. From then on till [S] Jade: Enter, I often saw him watching flashes, and then he'd show me them. Homestuck immediately seemed to interest me, but it seemed complicated and I thought I wouldn't get it. I put it off me, until he showed me [S] Jade: Enter and that was the breaking point. It looked that interesting, I decided it was time to try it myself.

Fortunately, I had just about forgotten everything my brother had shown me before. I could vaguely remember some things: I never forgot about Jaspersprite, I remembered the green explosions in [S] Jade: Enter, I remembered seeing Jade's Dreambot on Jade's house in [S] Descend and normal Jade, the Paradox babies and I remembered seeing the Battlefield there (giving me the hilarious mental image of a Troll-like Jade that quite looked like Feferi standing on top of her tower in the middle of the Battlefield while meteors were falling and all the ecto babies were crawling near her), and I also remember seeing the Harlequin prototypings on the Black King or Jack, because when the Harlequin first appeared in Act 1, I thought the Harlequin itself would become the main villain. :P

As you can see, my expectations were completely subverted. Judging from vague descriptions my bro had given beforehand, I also had thought that the stories of the different characters were completely separate and only sometimes interacted.

FACTS 2012

Last reminder that tomorrow I am going to FACTS in Ghent!

I will be in or outside the entrance at about 10 AM in either a Jade shirt or a Void zipper hoodie, along with my brother who'll either be wearing a Dave shirt or a Doom zipper hoodie.

I hope to see some of you guys! Let's have an amazing day! I can't wait to finally meet some other Homestuck fans!

Messed up reaction videos

Good morning people!

I just decided to look at the Reaction Videos I blogged yesterday, but it turns out that Tumblr messed the subtitles up a bit and makes them shake.

So if you watch my videos, I'd suggest you do it on Youtube itself by copying the URL of the video. I hope you don't mind!

Also, my reaction to the recent update is coming up soon. I haven't watched it yet because my bro isn't up yet and we always watch Homestuck updates together.
