The way you ended the story of Peter Pettigrew in we can be heroes with the nod to canon Harry Potter? Cannot tell you how impressed I am! Was that planned from the start?

Ah what a wonderful ask, I’ve been beaming at this in my asks for a few days!

Yes when I started writing We Can Be Heroes, that was METICULOUSLY planned from the start, as was the entire story, I had plotted out EXACTLY how Peter was going to end up in Azkaban or die and…

Er, no wait, that is in fact a lie, I had nothing plotted out.

I started out with the firm intention of writing a canon marauders fic, with zero plot decided aside from the court case and one of the three Jily Defying Voldy parts. Fast forward and I decided it was physically impossible for me to finish it canon (because JKR’s angsty au is ridiculously sad and I couldn’t kill them all off) so I wrote a separate canon ending and told people not to read it (too heartbreaking) and gave them a damned better ending 😂😂😂

And Peter? Well, @jamesandthedog will attest that I was asking for advice regarding what to do with him just before posting that chapter as I had narrowed it down to two options! She suggested a conversation should happen between him and another character before the end, which I think was an excellent idea.

I’m also happy with his ending tbh, so I’m delighted you liked it!

(A carefully planned fic with a carefully thought out, detailed, er, plan?? Look, Gryffindors prefer last minute ideas, minimal planning and flying by the seat of their pants 🤣😉 mainly also because I have ZERO time for any planning, let alone writing, and if it wasn’t for knowing I needed to get one chapter out per month to keep people reading, and the positive feedback/motivation, I’d never have finished the fic!! )

So just realized CR plan greater restoration on Viliya/Viridian get her on side rest then Fjord summons sword and get angry Vacado and make him to come to them so he won’t have lair actions.

That may be how they get an advantage.
