Planet Quest by OutOfTheBit
One of the most delightful rhythm games I've ever played. Free, but with ads which can be removed by paying $1 or reaching #1 on the high score list.
This is the first time I've featured something that wasn't playable on a computer, so apologies to anybody without access to an iPhone, iPad or Android device.
A warning to the photosensitive: there's a level that flashes black and white a lot. Of course, if you're into flashing lights, you might think it's the best thing ever.
So as I was discussing Homestuck things with my brother today, as I mentioned earlier, I came up with an idea for my own planet quest. I already decided a long time ago that Glaciers would part of my planets name but wasn't really sure how to implement it. Part of my reasoning for that was because of how slowly glaciers move, since i'm a time player I figured the extremely slow movement of them could be connected to time and stuff you know? But other than that I didn't really have any ideas. What I just thought of though was that maybe there are like holes or cracks of some kind all over the planet with some sort of danger to the consorts spewing through from the denizen, like a poison gas or an exuberant amount of underlings or something. To solve that I would use my time powers or something to speed up the glaciers' slow crawl and seal away the problem. Kind of similar to John's quest now that I think about it.
Planet Quest a fast paced rhythm action game with vibrant visuals and an endless supply of levels coming to iOS.
You play an alien who must tap in time to the music to abduct cute dancing animals as the planet spins around in front of you like a turntable. Planet Quest runs on its own custom game engine, that incorporates a sample based music tracker. This tracker allows the game to build songs and levels on the fly with zero lag - allowing for unlimited music/levels. The vector based graphics compliment the music wonderfully, making for a game that's full of color and energy.
The current Beta test is for iOS, but Planet Quest will also be coming to Android in the future. It's a fun and cheerful rhythm action game, with funky tunes, vibrant visuals and tons of replayability. Addictive rhythm action animal abduction.
