I accepted @vindiesel's challenge to me to #PlantaTreeforGroot and now I challenge all #GuardiansoftheGalaxy fans to plant a tree! Post a photo of the tree you planted on Instagram or Twitter with #plantatreeforgroot & @jamesgunn. If 50 of you do this I'll give 5000 dollars to the Rainforest Trust who help save rain forests all over the world.

I think this needs to be a thing. You plant a tree or donate money to have trees planted. Once you do it, nominate people to do the same. http://shop.arborday.org/donate-fire.aspx Following the above link will plant one tree for every dollar donated. They also sell trees for planting yourself. Personally I like the hashtag #growgroot for this.
