Just spending my days in the most incredible place researching the impact of plants on human history. So far I’ve explored how agaves played a central role in Mesoamerican religion, encouraged a botanical revolution in Europe, shaped Mexican nationalism, and can even help address climate change today. Next up is rubber - a plant that transformed the world in only 100 years!
