Four Ways to Celebrate Mother’s Day 2020
Being a mom has never been *easy* (no matter what she might tell you) -- but like many things, right now it's extra full-on. From homeschooling to chasing rambunctious toddlers and trying to explain COVID-19 to little ones, there are more hats to wear and fewer quiet moments in which to inhale and exhale.
If you're a mom or mom figure, we send you our love -- and our eternal admiration for the million and one ways you are holding it down. Even if we can't all be in the same room with the moms in our lives this Sunday, there's still time to deliver a bundle of joy (not that kind!) to her doorstep. Check out our Plant Pantry for some treats we think she might like, and see a few other ideas below.
With big love for caregivers of all kinds,
Team Greenhouse
1. We're delivering first thing Sunday morning in central Toronto! 🚙
Order healthy treats from greenhouse.ca before midnight, and they'll arrive before 8am.
In our Plant Pantry, we carry beautiful, isolation-friendly gifts and brunch items galore, from candles and essential oil linen spray to organic flour, frozen blueberries and bananas (for all your pancake and banana bread needs), granolas, jam, honey, tea, coffee, dark chocolate bars, and of course, all of our organic drinks (and the Greenhouse Cookbook)!

2. Get her a digital gift card for our home delivery service and Plant Pantry. 💝
It's as simple as buying one from greenhouse.ca (we offer denominations of $25, $50 and $100) and emailing it to her. Then she can order plant-based beverages and local yumminess to her doorstep whenever she pleases. (Just double-check that she’s in our delivery area.)

3. Do a Zoom yoga class together.🧘🏻♀️
Toronto's Roots Yoga Studio (across from our Macpherson store) is offering a full schedule of donation-based classes via Zoom, with 100% of proceeds going straight to teachers.
This Sunday your options are:
A 10am Vinyassa Flow class
An 11:30am Yin Yang class
A 5pm Restorataive class
Plus a whole video library of past classes is available — so you can tune and unwind together at any hour!
Visit rootsyogastudio.ca to give it a try.

4. Make her breakfast! 🥞
Find the recipe for quick Blender Pancakes (and some other M-Day favourites) here. If you’re not under the same roof, consider dropping some Easy Morning Muffins or Pantry Peanut Butter Cookies on her doorstep. Along with a macaroni-decorated Strawberry Lemonade, of course...
Happy Mother’s Day!
