Made a few #necklaces & another #malabracelet with my #plantspiritbeads . All are adjustable with a sliding knot so can be worn as a #choker or longer. Hoping to take some photos with a model soon! They look beautiful on! Hoping to have them for sale on my site by next week! 🤞🏼 (at Jupiter's Labyrinth)

Ahhh! The challenges of new projects! I am LOVING making #plantspiritbeads It's such fun and I'm now working with 3 different sizes. So here's one of the major challenges: Is form or color more important? I use fresh plant material when making these, so upon doing so the resin drains out some of the color. Greens, yellows and whites seem to be fine, but pinks, purples, reds, blues and oranges all fade to browns, greens or yellows. Which aren't at all unattractive, just not the original color. BUT I've been experimenting with drying the flowers. If I dry the flowers first... the color is held better BUT the plant crumbles vs. holding it's beautiful natural form. So, alas- which is more important? Color or form? You can see the one pink bead in the pics was dried and yellow ones right next to it are the same flower only fresh... My gut reaction is that form over color is more important... but if you have any thoughts or feedback, I'd love to hear it🙏🏼💕 Also... THANK YOU for all of your awesome feedback! I can't wait to begin the jewelry making process but I must take advantage of whats left of the growing season for plant material before fall hits. So for now I'm in a bead making frenzy!! Back to more experimenting!!! XoA (at Jupiter's Labyrinth)
