Plastic Energy
Today the weather changed drastically in NYC from one hour to the next. At 2PM it was sunny, warm and Spring felt strong. By 3PM, the sun was gone, the rain had began to linger in and Winter let us know that she was still hanging around.
Sometimes our moods react the same way: one moment everything is golden and then something happens to ruin that golden moment. But how can golden moments be ruined by plastic energy?
Plastic is a synthetic material made to imitate a natural product. Did you know that? Then why would you let bullshit energy affect your golden moments the way you do? I guess the answer is simply ego and pride, right?
If your ego and pride can be tapped to affect your mood so easily, then all it means is that you have a lot of growing up to do. In the meantime, your life will suffer a lot of drama and a lot of bad moments that will suck any good energy you have left out of you, and then it will leave you scratching your head as to how it all happened so fast.
Pride and ego can turn impatience into anger faster than the flick of a switch. And before the light in your head switches back on to realize what is happening, you could be left with a situation that will leave the future of your life in shambles that require shackles.
Don’t be a fool any longer. Don’t let the plastic energy of others manipulate you to make bad decisions. You can only do this by staying happy in the moment regardless of what happened yesterday, what is to come tomorrow, and who it is delivering that fake love.
