My favourite bit of Downton nonsense is that Spratt and Denker, despite openly and vocally loathing each other to the point of threats of unemployment and prosecution, are nonetheless constantly together when not at the Dower House. At Christmas parties, weddings etc, they're just standing together staring malevolently into each other's eyes, making no effort to go literally anywhere else.
