I thought I was pretty adventurous, letting Little P crawl around the playground at 9 months old. Until I saw a video where an occupational therapist was advocating bringing the baby to the playground as early as 3 months old! The baby can do tummy time on the slide, she recommended, and also observe other children at play. Alot of times Little P and Donna were alone at the playground though. But when a child comes along. Little P would always stand and stare menacingly, 🙊 i mean observe with great interest, and afterwards attempt to do what the other child was doing. Yesterday was a rare occasion where Little P played while one audience of a shyer, older child observed. At 11 months, Little P has started to protest and cry when it is time to leave the playground. He was having so much fun spinning objects with his hands. We left a little too late and ended up walking home in a very, very light drizzle. I really need to get a rain cover for our stroller. Haha. Looking at this picture, I started thinking about what are the opportunities in a playground space I can use for Donna to get some exercise too. #followthechild #playgroundlife (at Singapore) https://www.instagram.com/p/B58x8wpAdqH/?igshid=37lxg5mnztlx
