JUMPING OFF . . .
Cabinets and bookcases are up and it’s pretty much as blank space as it gets. I didn’t really have any specific plans about this room outside of creating storage.
And then I stumbled on this rug. There was a blue version of this same rug, which I knew my subconscious would have naturally gravitated towards, but since this has become the “GO BIG, GO HOME” makeover, I figured I should go opposite of subtle. And what’s more NOT subtle than a PAINTED BLACK WALL!!
The look of uncertainty on The Mister’s face as I try to convince him to let me go all black is pure gold. And speaking of gold, I’m kinda determined to get some of that into this room too. We’ll see how this goes.
