Earlier this year, Yugo Nakamura's Humanity, considered by many as a cancelled project, resurfaced with unexpected pedigree. As one who has lived for years in anticipation, what I encountered in the trial version was no less than what I had expected: a high-concept puzzle game brimming with style, substance, meaning, and humour. In October 2021, I pointed out the obvious when I described it as the most bizarre blend imaginable of Lemmings, Intelligent Qube, The Last Guy, Noby Noby Boy and ChuChu Rocket!. Enhance was not impervious to these and similar comparisons and decided to borrow the aesthetic of Japanese Playstation-era TV advertisements to craft their own video announcement of the game's official launch date and day one availability for PS Plus subscribers. Leave it to a third-party studio to adequately celebrate the rich history of the Playstation brand.
