'FUTURE' album review
Attention - this post is long as shit so scroll down if you not intrigued. alright so this is my first time doing a review and I wanted it to be future because it just came out and it would be a good introduction to me doing reviews. I was inspired to do album reviews because of big ghost and his hilarious album reviews (that you should definitely check out btw, the IANAHB 2 review is my favorite) but anyways lets get to it. Feel free to ask or comment any albums that you would want me to do or if you want to help review. So my boy future was hot as a motherfucka like a year ago you couldn't go anywhere without hearing this nigga but after subpar releases like purple reign and project et it left niggas like me wondering would he ever come back with that heat so I was excited to listen to the album so lets get to it. It's better if you're listening to the album while reading. 1. Rent Money - "ya babymama fuck me better when the rent due, I just fucked a rapper bitch I should diss you" my nigga started the album with that gutter shit. This a cool little track tho, it bumps but it's nothing special to me. 2. Good Dope - THIS IS MY SHIT MY NIGGA. It's a hard ass song (to me). I really like the flow on hear and how it goes with the beat. "fuck me just don't kiss me" is a real ain't shit nigga line and I like it lol. 3. Zoom - it's bumpin a little bit forreal but not as much as the first 2 tracks. it's really iight as hell nothing to brag about 4. Draco - when I first heard this song I fucking hated it, but it ended up getting stuck in my head and I fucking love it now. I normally don't like these bubble gum pop type beats but future made it work on this one. Great song 5. Supper Trapper - I thought the song was gonna be good because the title but that's not the case at all. it's catching that skip button immediately 6. POA - now this is hype music. makes me want to smack the shit outta someone grandma. My nigga said he needs the power of attorney on the hook like what the fuck are you talking about my guy but the track so fiya flame I don't care lol. 7. Mask Off - the best overall song on the project. Beat is so soulful and future flows perfectly on it. Never thought I would like a song where the hook is just Molly Percocets, but hear I am bumping hard as shit. 8. High Demand - I like to play this song when I just got out the shower lol. It's a good little track forreal makes you kinda feel like ric flair for a minute. 9. Outta Time - this track caught the big fuck outta here 10. Scrape - I mean if you like hearing skrt skrt skrt skrt the whole song it might be for you but it's catching that big skip 11. I'm so groovy - another track I thought was gonna be hard because of the title. It's not a bad track tho I like it. He says mhmmmmmmm alot and that shit be having me laughing because how it sounds with his voice. 12. Might as well - different type of track from the others a little more personal. I like when future does tracks like this. great track to me got my mans talking about how child support getting heavy on him and how he was selling crack when snoop dropped gin and juice. 13. Poppin Tags - nah I ain't feeling this at all 14. Massage in my Room - this track fucking BUMPING MY NIGGA. got ya boy jigging dancing and doing all type of funny shit it bump so hard. Definitely a standout track. The hook is hard as hell too. Future did the thing on this one. 15. Flip - uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm not feeling this one at all big fella 16. When I was broke - another personal song that you can feel how he was feeling. It doesn't have any replay value tho but it's still a very cool song 17. Feds did a sweep - a perfect way to end the album. This song is so soulful you could sing it at church my nigga. Like I really really like this track, another standout. Overall takeaway - this was a straight up trap album forreal outside of maybe 2 tracks it was just that BUMP that makes you bob ya head and get a little loose. However It's not anything special future still has about 4 projects that are better than this one but it is his best release since EVOL. The tracks for the most part are hit or miss but in a good way. This was a good step forward especially after dropping that bullshit project ET I'm looking forward to more trap future. Standouts are - Draco, Mask Off, Massage in my Room and Feds did a sweep. I rate this album 3.5 child support payments to Ciara outta 5. Again feel free to comment any albums that you want me to review and I will or I'll say fuck outta here, either or. Thanks for reading
