It's been a year since this blog started, and what a year it's been! I shared mosquito facts, answered questions about various things... Jumba had a blog for a while, although he hasn't used it in ages.

Speaking of that, we never did get around to planning that summer trip to Paris. There's not really the time- we have to take care of Lilo and Stitch, now that school's out but Nani's still busy with work. And Nani says we can't bring Lilo and Stitch all the way to Paris. -O(

Anyways, I hope to have many more years sharing information with you all!

it might help nani n lilo just to have someone to vent to. maybe u could try make the day easier for them by doing some more of the household tasks so nani can stress less? maybe doing something fun with lilo? just don't overthink it!

I got this ask a little late, but, I did try to help out extra around the house yesterday. I figured it was the least I could do...

Mother's Day today.

...It's not a very good day. It usually isn't, not for Nani and Lilo at least, and when they get sad, I get sad!!! Nani tries to hide when she's sad, but she's not really good at it.

I should do something to cheer them up, but I'm not sure what.

considering your job used to be protecting an "endangered" species, how did you feel lesrning about the many endangered species on earth? especially knowing that humanity caused a lot of them?

It's... I don't know. It's something. Earth is such an isolated little planet. Without space travel, without spreading across the universe, everything here could be considered endangered.

I don't think a lot of my fellow- or, formerly fellow- Federation officers would care as much. Or even my former superiors. It's just another random planet to them. The mosquitoes are the reason the place is designated as a wildlife preserve, but really, every species on this planet is rare and precious.

Even the ones I don't particularly like. It's been an honor to get to see then in person.

you would like seals. they also have teeth just for holding n swallow their food whole. actually, theres an endangered species of seal on hawaii, maybe u've seen them?

Seals are cute! They're one of my favorite Earth animals- they remind me of Jumba, but don't tell him I said that.

I do stay clear of them, though, even more than humans might. Ocean animals don't tend to like me! Or rather, they like me too much...

Well... eating it whole! Eating the whole food item at once! It's generally considered impolite.

how do you chew your food if you have no teeth?

Intergalactically speaking, eating food whole is considered rude! So I have to at least try to chew, even if my teeth are made more for holding things in place rather than chewing.
