hi do you think you could tell me what it was that Benedict did in Korea? I seem to have copletely missed that (the same way I apparently missed that Tom had made a mistake like that in the past too) and now I feel kinda bad/ignorant that I don't have any idea what it could be..
Please note, that I only know this context from Koreans, who are huge fans of Benedict.
He did a Buddhist greeting (please correct me, if that’s a wrong way to call it) at the airport and continued to do it. Even though it was pointed out to him, that it is at least highly unusual and something Buddhist monks would do among themselves. So he wanted to be respectful, but then seemed to treat all East Asians the same.
Tom did the same greeting the last time he visited, but didn’t repeat it.
