People really do amaze me sometimes. Being on Twitter is like entering an impromptu psychological experiment. You have your posers, your liars, your jokesters, your over-doers and the small group of people with common sense.
Reading their tweets gives you a sense of their personality, at least the persona they exhibit to the Twitter world and depending on the time of day, it’s funny or just aggravating as hell. You never realize how much you could dislike people you didn’t even know until you create a Twitter page and follow people.
I’m just an observer. I laugh, I cringe and I roll my eyes at everything I see but every once in a while, I get thoroughly irritated. The ironic thing is the people who make you laugh often are the same people who irritate the hell out of you. When it comes to judging character, you often have to go by what you see and it never occurs to you that this person could quite possibly be the stupidest, most disrespectful person you’ve ever heard from.
The level of craziness you see on Twitter can leave you utterly flabbergasted and I’m one of those people who have to either write or say what I’m thinking or else it will drive me crazy. As most people do, you tend to follow people you have the most in common with; whether it be favorite artists or just similar philosophies. It’s easy to become comfortable with certain people’s sense of humors and opinions but all it takes is one dumb ass statement to ruin that comfort and make you think, “Why the hell did I follow you in the first place?”
Sometimes I feel like I’m rehashing old topics but it’s difficult to ignore the constant reappearance of the same stupidity. I have a pet peeve of people who aren’t honest and don’t commit to their opinions. It’s nothing wrong with being biased or liking one person more than the other. I think the issue is when you pretend to be neutral knowing that you are not.
What’s the point of pretending to love equally when your attitudes, words, and opinions clearly demonstrate the opposite. I am not one to impose my standards and ideas onto other people but I have no problem freely expressing whatever issues I have. For me, nobody really has to give a fuck. Nobody has to agree with me but a lack of support won’t stop me from being honest.
Now that I’m done with general shit, let’s get specific. All these so-called Chris Brown fans who emotionally nail this nigga to the cross get on my last goddamn nerves. Ever since him and Rihanna broke up and even a while before, everything he do is wrong. From his hair and his face to the way he walks, it’s wrong and open for malicious words that are horribly disguised as jokes. These niggas know damn well none of the shit they say is funny. It irritates me that they think it’s ok to say he does drugs, fucks everything that moves and whatever else crazy ass reach they can come up with but as soon as someone who is clearly not a fan says it they want to jump to his defense. Please explain to me what is the difference between them doing it and someone else doing it? Don’t worry, I’ll wait….
There is no difference and at the end of the day, most of them are only for Chris when it’s popular and against Chris when it’s not. None of them have a mind of their own or any sense of decency and respect. He is a human who, no matter what his 24-YEAR-OLD GROWN ASS does, deserves respect and the ability to make his own decisions without being attacked for them. This nigga can’t even breathe, favorite a tweet, laugh or smile without somebody having a problem with it. Yet the people who attack him be the same muthafuckas ready to claim how much they love him. If that’s how you love somebody, Bitch please hate my ass! In all honesty, there is a thin line between tough love and disrespect. When you love or care about somebody you don’t put them down or attack them like the shit is funny.
People are so quick to ditch him just because he’s going through something but as soon as he does something successful and good noteworthy, they want to claim it. Bitch, you didn’t buy any albums or singles! How could you? You were too busy insinuating he was a druggy or investigating which vagina he’s sticking his dick in. People spend more time focused on shit that isn’t their business or responsibility than what is actually a part of their job description. You’re a fan. Buy some music, watch a video and SHUT THE FUCK UP! You want to lust after him, cool. You want to make little inconsequential jokes, fine. But don’t think that gives you license to curse him out, disrespect him and hurt his feelings.
And all this fuckery in the name of love and neutrality? You think no one notices how fake you are and how quick you are to drag him for blood at just a hint of him doing something you don’t like? Do people really think they are that slick? Everything isn’t funny and people often go too far. Just because somebody doesn’t say anything, doesn’t mean they don’t notice.
