roach has an insane praise kink
soapghostroach // 500 words // suggestive
Roach’s face is in the captain’s palm, a large hand holding him by the jaw and tilting his head up to make him meet MacTavish’s gaze. Roach blinks up at him with big, round eyes.
Ghost has already been put on his knees, a red handprint blooming on his cheek. His head is tilted downwards, eyes no higher than the captain’s boots.
But Roach has been good, he’s pretty sure. He hasn’t broken any rules, he’s acted nice, and he’s standing as straight as he can, his head obediently placed in MacTavish’s hand to pull him closer by. He’s looking over Roach with that stern, keen stare, like he can see right through him.
“You’ve done well, Roach, aye?”
He isn’t sure if the question is rhetorical, but he nods anyway, a quick and shallow dip of his head so not to displace MacTavish’s hand gripping his jaw. He has, he thinks. Hopes. Really, really hopes. He can’t disappoint MacTavish, he’s tried so hard, he can’t–
“Good boy, Roach.”
He sucks in a sharp gasp. Feels the words washing over him. His eyes roll back.
Roach wakes up on the floor.
The first thing he registers is something soft under his head.
His brows furrow as he blearily blinks his eyes open, squinting up at the ceiling. He’s lying down on the ground, squinting up at the two figures blotting out the light.
“Hey, Roach?” Ghost pats him on the cheek. Roach hums vaguely in response as the world comes back into focus.
Ghost is hovering over him, kneeling on one side, and MacTavish is on the other. It’s his palm that’s cradling his head, keeping it from the hard floor.
“Alright, lad?” MacTavish asks, looking unusually concerned when Roach meets his eyes. He feels himself flushing darkly – he made both of them so worried for him, and for such a stupid reason, just for fainting.
“What happened?” Ghost’s palm lands on his collarbone, thumb digging in as if trying to check for his pulse, which is beating too fast under the attention. Roach looks between them with a self-conscious laugh, though he can’t hold eye contact with either of them for any longer than a second.
“I– I really liked what you called me.”
MacTavish’s brows rise up. He shares a glance with Ghost over Roach’s body, both of them looking particularly incredulous. Roach blushes darker, his cheeks way too warm, unsure whether he’s somehow fucked this up – but MacTavish’s palm is still gently cradling his head and Ghost’s hand eases where it’s set on his chest. When MacTavish looks down to meet his eyes again, he’s somewhere between surprised and concerned.
“Are you going to faint every time I tell you that you’ve been good for me?”
Roach feels another shiver race up his spine at the words, even if it is just a question. He smiles up at him, shrugs lightly.

New fanfic!!! Ghost/Roach, on russian language (easy language, no special terms. You can easily read this with a translator!)
Unfortunately, I've only prepared the publication for the Russian website so far. I'm still having a really hard time using Ao3 and combining layout formats, but I'll try to publish it there soon!
Read the work in Russian right now: https://ficbook.net/readfic/019f0d69-b933-7dcc-93dd-9f6f7053f2a0

Gary Sanderson comes home from the war alive, but not whole. A divorce, veterans’ benefits, and endless bureaucratic red tape keep dragging him further down the social ladder. Now his world consists of twelve-hour shifts, pills, flights of stairs that are getting harder and harder to climb, and seeing his son once a week. He stopped expecting to ever heal the way he used to a long time ago, even though deep down, he still desperately wants to.
Then, day after day, the same man starts showing up at his checkout with cans of stew.

Working on this fanfic was EXTREMELY EXHAUSTIVE, but I'm very happy with the result. I believe that I have fully realized my idea and shown how I see the couple Gary and Simon outside the army. In this fanfic, they go from strangers to lovers!!! It's an AU!!!!
They're a little more mature here, a little more tired. Without the pressure, their relationship is much easier, but that doesn't mean they heal each other. In my fanfics, love usually doesn't heal, it destroys. Here, perhaps, it was not love that was to blame for their healing and acceptance of reality, but they themselves. I adore this fanfic. In particular, because of Gary's son ❤️❤️❤️
This work is based on MY headcanons, but Simon here is 100% comic book. Overall, I'd be happy if you read my fanfic.
Oh, and the work has its own playlist on YouTube. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLcmOaph-4Mk&si=f6itb_v4TNrnen2z
Thank you for reading me and looking at my drawings. I'm glad to be here.
Later, I want to prepare a few more posts with illustrations and translations of individual sections of text, but that will definitely come LATER. Now I'm going to go rest and obviously draw commissions.
Something something Roach-as-a-ghost-following-'22 and unfortunately Ghost can hear him often enough to get pissed off about it (assumes Roach is probably a hallucination)
Roach, naturally, is entirely unaware that his rambles are being overheard
(Roach yapping to himself as a sign of mental unrest save me...)
