Wilden Asks Hanna For A Blood Sample, Then A Takes It
Darren Wilden Appreciation Post #1
The Pilot
Working On A Huge New Theory
Ted Wilson (Mr. Young) is the father of CeCe/Charlotte, Wilden (CeCe and Wilden are twins) and Aria is the real Drake child. She was switched at birth by Marion who was paid by Jessica to do it and she was later killed to protect her secret. Jessica in return was killed by Ted or CeCe. Spencer is Really Byron and Ella’s daughter.
Wilden Is Alive Clues
Wilden
· Garrett and Jenna were most likely on the A-team. Jenna told Garrett that she was sorry the liars didn’t know that they were the ones doing this to them, after they were caught with the murder weapon when they were going to save Dr. Sullivan. Then Garrett and Jenna had a fight over bringing someone else into this. That it was a mistake to let him help them. Was Garrett talking about Wilden) On the Halloween train, Garrett told Spencer that he didn’t understand what the game was all about, and that he should have done, because he was a cop. Then in Mona’s video, we see Wilden telling the other QoH (Melissa) that they should leave Aria and get Garrett before he tells the girls everything. Then Garrett ended up dead in the box with Aria. Did Wilden kill him to protect the game?
· It is possible for Wilden to be Beach Hottie. After all, he spent some time with Ali, Charlotte and Melissa in Cape May.
· Wilden went to high school with Melissa. That means that his age may fit with the prom A was recreating in the dollhouse.
· Wilden was obsessed with the liars and finding out what happened that summer. Not that night, but summer. What did happen that summer?
1. The liars and Alison hurt Jenna, by accident?
2. Toby went to juvie for it.
3. Ali was blackmailing Byron, maybe Peter and possible more people. She was also desperate to get money from Hector.
4. Ali and Melissa had their masks made at Hector’s.
5. Ali was seeing both Ian and Ezra.
6. Ali stole the NAT videos.
7. Jenna was blackmailing Toby into sleeping with her.
8. Bethany escaped Radley.
9. Ali, Bethany and Sara disappeared.
10. Charlotte and Jason were dating.
11. Ali were calling Grunwald.
12. Ali had a pregnancy scare with Beach Hottie.
What else could have happened that summer?
· Wilden had two passports.
· Ashley’s phone was found in Wilden’s casket. Hanna’s number were saved as “Kisses”.
· In Wilden’s apartment, the liars found a box of meat, with a note “Can’t wait for our little barbeque. Kisses A”. Kisses. Is barbeque code for burning down the cabin? Who sent it? Charlotte, or Shana and Jenna? Or simply someone with an A-name, like Ashley? I do think it was Charlotte, though.
. Charlotte didn’t leave Ashley’s phone in Wilden’s casket, because then she wouldn’t have had to send Sara to check if he really was dead.
· This also means Charlotte didn’t kill him. Charlotte was at the cabin, and according to Spencer, Wilden was killed while they all were at the cabin.
· Why did Charlotte question if he really was dead?
. Wilden helped Jessica cover up the murders of both Marion and “Ali”.
· Wilden was killed in 4x01. Yet we saw him in a flashback in 6x10 and Elliot was wearing his mask in 6x20. This has to be to remind us of him. Also, the mask maker did a really good job making that mask, if he only had a picture to model it from.
· Mellissa said, “all of us was afraid of him (Wilden). Who is us? Shana and Jenna? She also said he wasn’t smart enough to blackmail people, but I think he is. After all, he finally got his way with Ashley after Hanna stole those sunglasses.
· Wilden pretended as if nothing ever happened after Ashley run him over with the car. He just wanted his car back.
· Jenna and Shana helped Wilden after Ashley run him over. Where did he go, and why?
· Wilden freaked on both Ashley and Charlotte after he found out that Charlotte told Hanna that Ali had a pregnancy scare, and Hanna told Ashley she thought it was Wilden who was the father.
· Someone had stayed in one of Jessica’s properties for three years, was this Wilden’s secret hideout?
· Jenna told Emily that she wasn’t the one she needed to fear.
· Shana was “attacked” by A when she was going to meet Ali and give her some money. Charlotte supposedly wanted Ali to come back to Rosewood, so it couldn’t have been her. Charlotte also said that Wilden would never let Ali return, but he was dead by the time Shana went to meet Ali. Therefore, it doesn’t make sense for Charlotte to attack Shana that night. Maybe she had already learned that Shana was going to hurt Ali, but I don’t think so. Wilden was the one who wanted to keep Ali away.
· Grunwald referred to a he when the liars met her in Rosewood. “One of you has been touched by the one she fears the most” and “He’s here”.
· Charlotte hitting Ali doesn’t add up. According to her, she snuck out of Radley to follow Bethany. She was scared that Bethany would hurt Ali or Jessica, so she hit her, only it turned out she hit Ali. Jessica came outside and buried her, while Charlotte were sitting next to her. Then Jessica had Wilden pick her up and drive her back to Radley, pretending he found her along the road somewhere near Rosewood. Problem is, I don’t think Charlotte was a patient at Radley. In addition, Charlotte admitted to Emily that she was in Rosewood that night, talking to Melissa. Melissa wanted the NAT videos, and asked Charlotte to convince Ali to give them back. Charlotte talked to Ali about it, and didn’t see her again. Charlotte didn’t nearly kill Ali, but maybe Wilden did. He could have convinced Jessica not to tell, because then he could have her arrested for blackmailing him into ruling Marion’s death a suicide.
· Jason also thought that he saw Charlotte that night, talking to Melissa. When Ali told Charlotte, she insisted that he had to have seen Bethany, not her. Why? And what was on those videos that made Melissa so obsessed with getting them back? Did it have something to do with Wilden? Melissa called someone that night and said “Do I have to call 911 to get your attention”. Wilden was a cop, so that might fit.
· After Wilden’s body was found, Hanna had a dream of Wilden with a pig face. Made me think of the dummy Ezra, Toby, Caleb and Ali left in the DiLaurentis house in 6x01 when they were going to track down A and find the girls.
. Ashley admitted that she went to confront Wilden the night he died. She said she didn’t have the money he asked to leave Rosewood, so she brought Tom’s gun - but she says that Wilden took the gun from her, and she left. How did Wilden get shot with that gun, and who put it in the Marin house afterwards? I think Ashley really did shoot him, but he didn’t die. Instead he struck a deal with Travis, to help him frame Charlotte for it.
· If Wilden really did die, why bring his body to the middle of town? Spencer said he was stuffed in the trunk of his car, but as we saw, in his police car, they found a pig in the trunk. In addition, if he were found in the trunk of another car, wouldn’t the police have him taken to the morgue instead of laying him down in the middle of the street for everyone to see him?
I don’t know how they would explain Wilden being alive. However, Mona looked dead, but was really alive. And Rollins wearing the realistic Wilden mask in 6x20, leaves the possibility that Wilden has been walking around town all the time, wearing someone else’s face. If he’s A, being dead is the ultimate alibi. Wilden’s motive would be something that happened that summer, like he told the liars he would find out. Byron once told Aria (3x14) that “Did your friends do this? I know what they are capable of”. What was that a reference to? The Jenna thing, or did they do something worse? After all, both Emily and Spencer has “memories” of killing Alison. Maybe they really did hurt someone. Someone close to Wilden.
Edit: Hanna asked Travis if the girl he saw killing Wilden was blonde. Travis said that he wasn't sure because it was dark. Still he managed to perfectly describe Charlotte to a scetch artist.
Charlotte didn't kill Wilden
Wilden was killed between 10 pm and midnight the same night as the liars were at the cabin, in 3x24. Spencer told Toby that they were at the cabin at the time Wilden was killed.
Charlotte told Alison in 6x10, that she had been suspecting that Ali was alive, and that night at the cabin, she finally got it confirmed, when she saw Ali in the woods. She also told Ali that she killed Wilden because he too had figured out Ali was alive.
Well, Wilden was killed when the fire happened. Charlotte was there, not at the lake with Wilden. She wouldn’t have known Wilden figured out Ali was alive.
Also, Travis told Hanna in Bring Down the Hoe, that he saw Ashley arguing with Wilden at the lake that night. After she drove off, he heard two gunshots. He saw the killer run away. Later he described the killer to a sketch artist, and the police realeased the picture, revealing it to be Charlotte.
Charlotte can’t be at two places at the same time, unless she has a twin, which I don’t think she has. Although that might explain how she was at Radley and at the same time dating Jason, becomming prom queen etc, but I think her whole story was a lie, she was never a patient at Radley.
Back to the point. Wilden was shot with Tom Marin’s gun, which Ashley had stolen previously that day. The police only talked about one set of foot-prints not belonging to Wilden. Foot-prints belonging to a woman who wore stilettos. Just like Ashley did. No other foot-prints belonging to the possible killer was discussed.
I think Ashley actually shot Wilden, but it didn’t kill him. Travis went to check on him, after he saw Ashley drive away, and Wilden told him that if he had to tell anyone who did it, he should describe Charlotte.
Because if Travis saw Ashley drive away, then heard two gun-shots and saw Charlotte run away from the scene, who put Wilden’s body in the middle of town? I think Wilden somehow managed to fake his own death, because he knew his life was in danger. Also, if he’s Uber A, it would make it a lot easier to get away with, if people think you are dead.
In addition, when Sara told Charlotte at Wilden’s funeral that: “he’s dead”, she seemed like she wasn’t telling thee truth. It may be because Dre Davis isn’t the best actor (sorry), but I think they would have reshot that scene, if the acting wasn’t supposed to be that bad.
Also, if Charlotte killed him with two gunshots, why would she need Sara to check on him at the funeral? At least that proves that Charlotte didn’t move his body, someone else did. Like himself, or Uber A, if he’s not that.
Sidenote: Wilden’s car was pulled out of the lake an placed in the middle of town just before the liars and Mona got back from the cabin. Charlotte wouldn’t have had time to do this, so who did?
Wilden was at the lake, supposedly getting shot to death. But why was he meeting Ashley by the lake? Was he there already, going to get his car back, and she followed him/was asked to meet him there?
We know Charlotte, Ali, Mona, Toby, Duncan, the liars, Sara, Shana, Jenna and possibly Melissa couldn’t have killed him/gotten the car, they were all at the cabin that night.
My master theory
Finally done with my theory. I have been a little uninspired lately, and had problems writing it. I tried to find an explanation for most of what has happened, therefore its looong. Here it goes.
Bethany is Charles
Mary went to Radley 25 years ago. She gave birth there, to her son Charles, who later transitioned into a woman. Problem is it does not fit with Charlotte’s age. The liars are 23 now; Charlotte and Jason are 5-7 years older than they are. However, Bethany is 2 years older than the liars are, and would have been 25 now. I think Charlotte stole Bethany’s story. That is why her story leaves us with so many plot holes, and why the flashback of her and Bethany is off when it comes to their age. This is also how Jessica is Bethany’s aunt Jessie. In addition, Charlotte and Bethany are sisters.
Mary Queen of Scots
Bethany had an unhappy childhood mostly because of her narrow-minded adoptive father, who had her admitted to Radley. However, her sister Charlotte did not have a great childhood either. Her mother was a patient at Radley, in addition her father were struggling with mental illness. Based on Spencer’s costume in the First Secret, Mary Queen of Scots, I think the father was Scott Montgomery. (I read a short theory on this a while ago, but I can’t seem to find it again. If you recognize this as yours, please let me know, and I will credit you). He was struggling with depression, and most likely committed suicide at some point. But before that, Charlotte was growing up in his care. Charles were adopted by the DiLaurentis’ because Scott felt it was too much to take care of an infant as well.
Charlotte never stayed at Radley
That’s how she could check herself into Radley, as Alison, without anyone recognizing her, attend school, become Prom Queen, have a roommate and a job. Charlotte was telling her story to Alison in a way that would give her sympathy. That’s why she said she was Charles, and that she was a patient at Radley. Charlotte’s biggest wish was to be a part of the DiLaurentis family. They have good jobs, a good reputation, they are rich and they are a loving family (at least from the outside). That’s why she started dating Jason and also befriending Alison. She, as her mother, had a love/hate relationship with the family. Charlotte wanted to be a part of it, but at the same time she hated them for only taking on Charles.
In Charlotte’s confession, she also tried to win over Ali, by telling her that Bethany was the crazy one, blaming her for everything, like Marion’s death. In reality, Charlotte and Charles had become friends while Charlotte were visiting her mother. One night they were at the roof of Radley. Charles was wearing a dress and then Marion came up to the roof as well. Charles were scared she would discover his secret, so he asked Charlotte to make her go away. Charlotte took the opportunity to push Marion off the roof, blaming it all on Charles.
Charlotte knew about the A game. She and Alison kept a conversation in one of Ali’s chemistry books, which Emily received in the mail from Nate’s family. There Ali says she went to confront Toby about the messages. I think Charlotte got interested in the game as soon as she heard about it. She loved messing with people, just like Ali did. In I’m Your Puppet, Spencer follows the map on the game Mona loved playing at Radley. It leads her to the children’s ward, where she found a visitor’s pass for Cece Drake to see Mona, authorized by Wren. As she is looking at it, Wren comes in. He explains that he gave it to her, because Charlotte had been desperate to see Mona, telling him that she could help her recover from the traumatizing events Alison had put her through previously. She knew Mona was at Radley because Melissa had called her.
In UnmAsked, we see Mona getting a visit from someone wearing a red coat. In Game Over Charles, the flashback shows us that it was actually Charlotte wearing a red robe, not a coat. This is just another example of how Charlotte didn’t tell the truth. She didn’t wear a robe, she wore the red coat. Or maybe she wasn’t wearing the red coat, maybe Mona imagined it, because she thought she was talking to Alison. One time when Hanna visited her, Mona was picturing Alison in a red coat, sitting behind Hanna. Either way, Charlotte was not wearing a red robe.
Back to the theory. Charlotte knew about the game, she got to know that Mona was A, and she wanted to know all she had done, and how she did it, so that she could steal the game from her. In exchange, Charlotte helped Mona sneak out of Radley whenever she needed to. Charlotte knew the place because of all the times she had visited her mother there when she was younger, in addition she bribed Wren into helping her out. That’s why Mona later told Wren she didn’t want to tell him everything anymore, because she knew where his loyalties were.
Mary and Jessica. We have met Mary before.
Mary and Jessica never had a good relationship. They were always fighting over their dolls as kids, and as they grew up, they started fighting over their “living dolls”. Mary was always jealous of her sister’s life and after Charlotte was born, everything got worse. Jason was born shortly after, and Mary thought Jessica was handling being a new mother much better than her. After some years, Mary had to go to Radley. The first years she and Charles were staying in different wards, so they didn’t know about each other, but when Charles became a teenager, they were put in the same ward. Jessica did not tell Mary that the boy was her Charles, and Charles only knew it was his aunt, and that he shouldn’t tell her they were related.
After Jason nearly died in the elevator in season 3, he thought that there really was someone out there killing the NAT members. He knew aunt Carol’s house was empty, so he went there to hide out, only to meet his mother there, who refused to let him inside. Jason clearly heard that there were someone in there, and did not understand what was going on, but ended up leaving. The reason he couldn’t come inside, was that Charlotte was there, and it wasn’t his mother on the front porch, it was Mary. Mary had occupied the house after her aunt Carol had died.
Bethany
Jessica always knew that Charles identified as a girl. When he was 16, Jessica decided it was time for him to become who he really was. They made a grave for Charles at Aunt Carol’s house, symbolizing that Charles was gone, and Bethany had been “born”. After that, Bethany had to go back to Radley. Bethany soon found out that Jessica had been lying to her, that she wasn’t her real mother. She was furious. She told her therapist that she was wondering if she could trust anyone in that family, and if it was like mother-like-daughter. She also stated that she (Alison? Jessica?) was an evil bitch and she had to protect herself. “It’s me or her. She’s not the only one that can make plans”. Jessica tried to smooth things over by buying her a pony, and told her that she could call her Aunt Jessie. It didn’t work. Bethany was furious and threw a bucket at her. After that, Jessica stopped taking her out.
That night
Bethany escaped Radley. Alison was running around trying to figure out who A was, drugging her friends. Mona was on the revenge train, ready to kill Alison. The NAT members and their friends were trying to get the videos back. Garrett pretended to kill Alison to protect Jenna. Byron was standing up against Alison, telling her that she couldn’t get any money from him.
Before Alison left her house that night, Jessica got a call from Radley, telling her that Bethany had escaped and that she needed to be careful. She denied Alison leaving the house, but she still left. Later she argued with Spencer, who didn’t sleep through the evening. Spencer threatened her with a shovel, and told her that Ali was dead to her already. Spencer went back to the barn. Melissa had heard the argument and saw Spencer walking away with the shovel. Melissa went to check on Ali, only to find a body on the ground. Believing Spencer had killed Ali, she buried the body, without making sure the person was really dead. Later, Alison decided to call it a night, believing she had managed to stop A, and went back to her house. Outside, she was hit over the head, by Charlotte. Jessica saw the whole thing and rushed outside. She knew that Alison could hold her breath for a long time, so to protect her, she buried her, pretending to protect Charlotte. Just like when Marion was killed, Jessica called Wilden to cover everything up, and he took Charlotte back to Aunt Carol’s house.
How Sara ties in with all of this
Like Bethany, Sara ran away that night. Also like Bethany, Sara liked drawing. Sara also looked unsure of her name, when the police officer found her in the dollhouse. Was this because like Mona, she was told to be someone else? There is a possibility that Sara is actually dead, and the Sara we know, is really Bethany. After all, there has to be a reason why we don’t know what Bethany looks like, other than she is blonde. That would explain why she knew Charlotte and why she is helping her. They are sisters, and even though Charlotte blamed Marion’s murder on Bethany, they still had love for each other. So, what if Bethany was going to confront Jessica and/or Alison that night, but before she got there, someone got a hold of her in a parking lot near Rosewood, like Sara said in Song of Innocence. For some reason, Sara found herself in the DiLaurentis’ backyard, getting knocked over the head by Mona.
There are some holes in this part, I know. Sara wrote Charlotte on a room on the Radley drawings. Avery said she saw Sara the next day, riding her bike. She may have seen someone similar though. I’m just trying to make sense of her character, because she seems so random. Also because the writers used a stock photo of her when we first heard about her. It seems like they never thought to make Sara a character, because if they did, I think they would have used Dre’s photo. Yes it was 2 season’s before we met Sara, but they think about casting people a long time ahead. Like Marlene said that they had waited for Chloe Bridges to play Sydney for ages.
Alison and Charlotte post Charlotte being A
They spent their teens/early twenties bullying people, playing games and pulling crazy stunts. They loved having power over people. After Charlotte unmasked herself and was admitted to a treatment facility, Alison stayed behind in Rosewood taking care over her. While Charlotte was A, she both hated and loved Ali. That’s how she found it so easy to attack her, but at the same time never really harming her. Alison also both loved and hated Charlotte. When she was younger she looked up to Charlotte, wishing that she was part of her family. And it turned out that she really was. Still, both Charlotte and Alison were having a secret relationship with Rollins. Ali told Charlotte about it the night she died, and that’s probably what caused Charlotte to leave the house that night. She felt betrayed.
Mary and Rollins
Mary and Rollins are just greedy, awful people. They work for A, but kept their own little game going on for a while, to catch Charlotte’s killer. They also conspired to steal the Carissimi group from Jason and Ali. Rollins were in love with Charlotte. They probably met while he was treating her. Alison was also in love with Rollins, but the sisters never told each other about their secret romance. Rollins never loved Alison, but he might have loved her assets. His true love was Charlotte, and they were going to marry each other. The issue with this, is that Rollins romanced Alison before Charlotte died. What was the point of that. Was he going to marry her, to get the control of some of the Carissimi group, and then kill/divorce her, keeping some control of the group, and then marry his true love?
Over to the Carissimi group. Jason told Ashley that Jessica donated a lot of money to them over the years. Carissimi means beloved in Italian. And look what Charles’ tomb stone says:
Jessica had set up the fond for Charles years ago, because she could never allow him to move back home, because of Kenneth. The money were her secret way of making sure that Bethany would have a future involving an education and a place to call home. Charlotte found out about the fond, and took control of it, financing her A game.
Wilden is alive
Pic from here
There is a reason why the writers had Rollins dress up as Wilden. 1) to make us remember him, because he is playing a big role in everything that has happened, and 2) Alison has some reason to feel guilty about his “death”. She thanked Charlotte for killing him for her in Escape from New York. Meaning that Alison had a reason to be afraid of him. “One of you has been touched by the one she fears the most” – Grunwald to Aria, Emily and Spencer. I think Wilden was the one Ali feared the most. More on that a bit later.
Wilden was supposedly shot by Charlotte in the woods. Charlotte had been A for a long time at this point, and she was always careful that no one would discover it was her. Yet, that night she was sloppy, Travis saw her. Charlotte was getting tired of the A game, and wanted to get caught, at some level. I think Wilden faked his own death using the same method as Charlotte did on Mona, making everyone think he was dead. Charlotte was in on it, and they were going to make Ashley seem responsible, to hurt Hanna. Wilden was always angry with Ashley for not wanting to be in a relationship with him, which he had tried to ever since the First Secret, when he gave her a ride home.
Wilden is Uber A
Wilden was completely obsessed with the liars. He helped Jessica cover up both Marion and Alison’s murder. He was friends with Jenna. He was in Cape May with Charlotte, Ali and Melissa. Charlotte said she killed Wilden because he found out that Ali was alive, and he would never let her come back to Rosewood. Wilden was one of the QoH on the Halloween train. He also told Pam that he killed a person in self-defense right after he graduated from the Police Academy. Pam was the first person he talked to about it.
He has to have some sort of connection to Jessica, but I can’t figure out what. But they have to be close, or she has to have something on him, in order to make him help cover up two murders. Sure, he may not have known that Charlotte “killed” Ali, but when Ali went missing, he had to put it together.
When Jenna moved to Rosewood, Wilden became her friend. Few people knew they were friends, seems strange to hide something like that. Jenna also dated Garrett in secret, and Wilden knew him too. Both through work, Jenna and through some kind of conspiracy. Reason I say conspiracy, is because of the events on the Halloween train.
In This is A Dark Ride, Mona is seen with a black hoodie at Radley. She gives this person 4 bullets and three sleeping pills. We never saw who this person was, even though Toby just had been revealed as A. I think this person was Wilden. At the Halloween train, someone dressed as the Queen of Hearts drugged Aria and locked her up in a box. We know both Wilden and Melissa was wearing this costume. After kidnapping Aria, Wilden told Melissa to “It’s not gonna happen! Listen to me.. Just leave her. Plan has changed. Garrett’s gonna tell them everything. We can’t let that happen”. Garrett told Spencer at the train that he pretended to kill Ali that night, that he saw Byron arguing with Ali and that he didn’t know what the game was really about, and that he should have known because he was a police officer. So he knew about the A game. How? Through Wilden? Garrett was one of his minions, and he was going to tell the girls about it. After all, he had previously told Spencer that he knew who dug up the grave, he knew about everything that was going on. Next thing we know, Garrett was dead in the box with Aria, and Wilden and a female (Melissa? Charlotte?) were trying to push the box off the train. The man saying no, while the female kept on pushing. I think Wilden said no to pushing the box off the train, because he still needed Aria alive. Murdering her was just letting her go too easy. In addition, he still needed her to piece together a mystery. Remember he once told the liars “Rest assure, I will find out what happened that summer”.
What did happen that summer, and why was it important to Wilden?
We know that the Jenna-thing happened and that Sara, Bethany and Ali disappeared that summer. Is one of these mysteries important to Wilden? It can be. He was friends with Jenna, he covered up Marion’s murder for Bethany and he knew Alison. Alison is the clue to this. He was at Cape May with her, Charlotte and Melissa that summer. During the summer, Alison had a fling with someone she only referred to as Beach Hottie. She told Charlotte that she was late, and was really worried that she was pregnant. Ali said that if BH found out, he would kill her. Later on, Charlotte and Ali were having a conversation about this in writing, in Ali’s chemistry notebook. Charlotte tells her that she needs to tell BH about it. I think that Ali found out that she really was pregnant, because why else would she need to tell the guy about it?
I think Beach Hottie is Wilden. In season 3, Emily learns that Ali thought she was pregnant. She tells the girls, and Spencer tells Jason. Jason then calls Wilden about it, but doesn’t reach him. He leaves him a message. Next thing, we see Wilden grabbing Charlotte, forcing her to get in the car with him. Hanna then tells Ashely about this. Then Ashley meets Wilden at a restaurant and they have an unpleasant conversation. As she is driving home, Wilden pulls her over for DUI. They argue for a while, and then he tells her to shut Hanna up. If he wasn’t having a sexual relationship with Ali that summer, he wouldn’t have had this extreme reaction to it. An innocent person would take this a lot more calmly, in my mind. After all, no one could prove that he had an affair with Ali.
Alison was going to run away
Alison was desperate to get the money from Byron. Why? Because she needed them to run away. Spencer knew Ali was going to do that, but she was so strung out on pills that summer, that she can’t remember. There has been two occasions where she has hinted towards knowing. 1) You are dead to me already, 2) in Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Inferno, Spencer says to Emily about Ali: “Why should we care what happens to her? (...) Happened to her”.
Spencer probably didn’t know why Ali was going to run away, but Ali needed someone to help her escape, and Spencer was the smartest person she knew. I think Ali was going to run away, to have an abortion or to have her baby in secret, and that’s why she needed the money.
Wilden’s motive
Wilden started out harassing the liars because he was scared that they knew something about his affair with Ali. He also wanted them to admit what they had done to Jenna. He also needed someone to pin Ali’s murder on, and the liars were perfect for that. Then he discovered that Alison was alive, but he needed her to stay out of town. He knew that if Ali came back, and if she had had the child, his career and reputation was going to be over.
Learning that the body was Bethany (actually Sara), and that someone had gone through the trouble of making her look like Alison, he was sure he could pin it on the liars. Also he really cared for Bethany because she was part of the Drake/DiLaurentis family. He had a strong connection to Jessica for some reason. Maybe she helped him when he killed that person when he was fresh out of the Academy? Making everyone believe that it was in self-defense, when it really wasn’t. Charlotte had been his ally for all these years, and he loved her as well. He surely thinks that the liars were involved in the death of both Charlotte and Jessica.
The killer
I think it’s Ezra. When Jessica was killed, Ezra thought she could be A. To protect Aria and her friends, he wanted her gone, so he switched out her medicines. Then he noticed Shana following the liars to New York and knew that he had made a mistake. It was too late to undo what he had done, so he just pretended it didn’t happen.
That’s why he didn’t really have a reaction when Aria told him that she had killed Shana. He was just okay with it all. I also do think that he killed Charlotte, once again to protect his true love, Aria. Another miss. A is still out there.
Sidenotes
· I think Jessica originally made the dollhouse to have a place she could be with Charles, where he could remember his family and feel loved. I think it’s connected to Radley by tunnels, and maybe even the Lost Woods Resort.
· Toby pushed Noel into the drink table, with the body hidden inside, because he knew it was there, and it needed to be exposed that night.
I have been writing on this for so long, that I don’t really see the text anymore, so there may be a lot of errors, and things that don’t add up here.
Wilden In The Finale/Random Thoughts
First off, yay, so glad to see him even if his role was anticlimactic. I found it odd that of all the people that could have been in the finale, why Wilden? His role in all the important events is noted but for some reason there were plot holes surrounding everything to do with him. That makes me suspicious. First they kill him and then they change his story drastically......why? There must be a reason. Yes I believed he would be A and I still think he may be. The whole CeCe story feels so disconnected to me especially with little liar involvement. It is very dreamlike and improbable.
I’ve said this so many times lately and I still believe it, black hoody and A are not the same person. Again the Carissimi lair and the vintage lair that black hoody had were so very different. This suggests two different people to me.
I don’t think the story we heard was true. I am not sure if CeCe is actually Charles, or wishes she was (she always fixated on Alison) but even if she is, I don’t think she is in charge.
