Okay so everyone knows what plot armor is: where a character literally CAN’T die becuase they’re needed in the sequel or some shit.
But then there’s plot life support, where they’re needed until the end of this section of the timeline, but no farther so it’s just at the end of the book/movie/whatever and the author just *boop* and yanks the cord and then the characters die.
It’s not exactly like that, but I find it so hilarious every time
