Jinki is a hopeless romantic. He always hoped that a love like those in movies and dramas could be reality, but he was sane enough to know those were all scripted. Those people were not really in love, they only pretended to be. He never thought someone like Joongki would sweep him off his feet and make him fall in love head over heels.
His life was given purpose the moment they met. The other is the first and last thing on his mind every single day. Every morning when he opens his eyes he first checks his phone to send a short “Good morning” message to his love. Every night he ends his day with a “Good night” or a “Sweet dreams”. Joongki is what occupies his mind day and night. Fulfilling his dream to become a successful lawyer is still important to the young man, but it is not as important as it seemed it to be in the past. Love is what rules the world now. His Their happiness is what he should focus on.
Unfortunately, they could not date openly like other people. He was sad he could not show people how much he loved his hyung, but people wouldn’t want to see. In many people’s eyes, love was something between a man and a woman, a boy and a girl. Gender was something that determined who you could fall in love with and who was a rival in the battle for love. Sometimes he wished they could hold hands in public or steal a kiss from the other’s lips in the middle of the street, but they were just not allowed to do so.

They have been secretly dating for two months now. Two months full of love and joy, full of exciting nights out and lazy evenings at home, full of intriguing deep conversations and silly jokes. To celebrate their anniversary they agreed to go back to the theme park of their first date. They had been so preoccupied with each other the first time, they didn’t actually try a lot of the rides. Not to mention the new roller coaster that opened a couple of weeks ago and that Jinki was very curious to try after hearing so much exciting reviews about.
“Are you ready?” the younger asked, staring at the metal rolls and swirls over their head with a gigantic smile. The elder didn’t seem to share his lover’s excitement. There was no smile on his lips and all colour was drawn from his cheeks. “Are you okay, hyung? Are you sure you want to go with me? If not, I can go alone… You can just wait for me right here.”
