꩜ concept : you (nate’s twin sister) and chris have been secretly hooking up for a while but nobody knows, until…
𓇼 warnings : ending of a sex scene, kissing, getting caught.
part one, part two.
you and chris had been secretly hooking up for a little over a month now. what started with stolen glances and harmless teasing had slowly unraveled into something far more intense than either of you expected. it began with lingering eye contact, soft smiles exchanged across the room, and playful jabs that gradually started feeling like flirtation. then came the sneaky hangouts, the quiet conversations held too close in the shadows of hallways, and the soft brushes of hands that lingered too long to be innocent. each moment between you two was like a spark—brief but thrilling, a slow burn of something forbidden. and when it finally tipped over into more—into kisses stolen behind closed doors, hands fisted in clothing, whispered names against skin—it became addictive. reckless. consuming.
but through it all, there was one rule. one non-negotiable boundary. nate could never, ever find out.
nate wasn’t just your twin. he was your safe place. your protector since day one. he made it his mission to shield you from anything and anyone that could break your heart, and that extended, especially, to his best friends. since high school, he’d laid the law down with a firm warning: you were off-limits. and he meant it. “if either of you so much as look at her the wrong way, you won’t be breathing the next day,” he had said more than once, half-joking, but always with that unmistakable fire in his eyes. chris knew that. he knew what was at stake. and still, he crossed that line—again and again.
the craziest part? you let him. no, you wanted him to. because being with chris didn’t feel like a mistake. it felt right. like something that finally made sense in a world that rarely did.

tuesday | 7:53 pm
the room was dimly lit, filled only with the soft golden glow of the bedside lamp. the air was thick with the scent of sweat and sex, and your skin was flushed and damp with heat. you slowly lifted yourself off of chris, a shaky breath escaping your lips as a sharp ache pulsed through you when his tip left your overstimulated core.
“careful, baby,” he murmured gently, catching your wrist as you nearly toppled over. his voice was low and tender, edged with satisfaction as he helped you ease down onto the mattress. you collapsed onto your back, eyes fluttering shut. your body hummed—exhausted, sore, and completely wrecked in the best possible way.
you lay on your back, chest rising and falling slowly as you caught your breath. the air still held the weight of what had just happened—messy, breathless, and a little chaotic—but the silence that followed felt oddly peaceful. beside you, chris moved carefully, reaching into the drawer to grab a small towel. his touch was gentle, his movements practiced and full of care, like he wasn’t just cleaning up a mess but trying to preserve the moment. he glanced over at you, eyes softer than you were prepared for, and leaned down to kiss your forehead.
“you did amazing,” he murmured, voice low and tender, tinged with something heavier than lust.
you smiled, still flushed, still overwhelmed. you watched him from the bed as he stood, pulling on his jeans and slipping his shirt over his shoulders. it hit you, for a second, how normal this felt—how easy it was to fall into routine with him, even if that routine was wrapped in lies and secrets.
you stayed still for another moment, trying to savor the quiet, before finally pushing yourself up and starting to get dressed.

you stood in front of the mirror, slowly running a straightener through your hair, trying to undo the chaos that chris had left behind. your cheeks were still tinged pink, and no matter how many deep breaths you took, your heart hadn’t stopped racing. behind you, chris was adjusting his collar, already dressed in his crisp white polo and black jeans, watching you like he hadn’t seen anything prettier in his life.
“c’mon, baby,” he said, walking up behind you and slipping his arms around your waist. “they’re yelling for us. let’s not give them more reason to suspect something.”
he kissed your cheek, and you let out a quiet laugh, shaking your head. “this is your fault,” you muttered, meeting his eyes in the mirror.
“not denying it,” he grinned, completely unapologetic.
you finished applying your lip gloss and tucked it into your purse. he pulled you in for one last kiss, and then the two of you headed downstairs, putting on your best act like nothing had happened. like you hadn’t just crossed every line your brother had drawn in the sand.
as you stepped off the final stair, the boys all let out exaggerated groans of relief.
“finally,” matt said, arms crossed, clearly annoyed. “we were about to leave without you.”
nick was pacing near the door, keys already in hand, while nate leaned against the wall with his arms folded, eyes sharp and impatient.
you and chris didn’t say much—just exchanged one of those glances you’d perfected over the past month. unreadable to anyone else, but filled with unspoken things.
you reached for your house keys in the bowl by the door while chris grabbed the car keys from the hook. the others began putting on their shoes, talking amongst themselves, and for a moment, it felt like maybe—just maybe—you were in the clear.
until nick spoke.
“nice lip gloss, chris!” he blurted out, laughing.
everything stopped.
chris froze mid-step, his hand flying to his lips. your heart dropped to the floor. his mouth—still faintly glossed with the shine you’d applied just minutes ago—was now very, very noticeable under the hallway light. panic flashed in his eyes as he scrubbed at his mouth, then glanced straight at you, expression wide with horror.
and then nate looked up.
his eyes landed on chris. then flicked to you. back to chris again. you could almost hear the pieces clicking together in his head.
his expression shifted. slowly. confusion giving way to fury.
“you’ve gotta be fucking joking me,” he said, stepping forward.
chris opened his mouth like he was going to speak, but nate was already shaking his head, his voice low and deadly.
“chris, don’t. just don’t. tell me this isn’t what i think it is.”
you tried to jump in. “nate, just calm down—” but it was too late.
“you guys are fucking?!?!” matt shouted, his jaw practically on the floor. you and chris both groaned, instinctively covering your faces with your hands. and just like that, the room fell into chaos—nick was howling with a mix of shock and laughter, matt was pacing in disbelief, and nate? nate looked like he was ready to tear the entire house down.
“nate, just calm down—” you began. ‘we’re gonna uh- miss our reservation.’ you say, taking matters into your own hands and walking out of the front door on your own accord equally as embarrassed and ashamed.
