Hi!! I love your Nevermore works sm!! If it's okay to ask, I've seen your Nevermore x readers headcanons about Pluto confessing by accident and wondered if you had some more thoughts on that? Like how it could happen/in what kind of situation?

Accidental confession:જ⁀➴ ♡

I imagine Pluto would only confess either in a stressful situation, as in, if you had got seriously hurt or he was really worried; or if he was really at ease and it was only the two of you.

Pluto would never confess your feelings for you if he thought he was about to die; not wanting you to carry that burden with you. He'd rather take that secret to the grave since to him, telling you his feelings when there would be nothing you could do about them felt really cruel.

If you were hurt, on the other hand, he would probably blurt out a confession mid panic. Something in the spur of the moment that he wouldn't be able to take back.

His eyes would zero in on your wound and he would immediately rush to your side, probably activating his spectre on accident due to the stress. Not having any sort of medical training would not help his feelings of uselessness in that moment; and if your injuries were so serious, so lethal that you would have been taken out of the game and into the infirmary, Pluto would probably lose it.

Not in public, but after lingering to "make sure you were alright", he would cling to you, worry being the only thing on his mind.

He would quietly confess after a while how scared he was of losing you; and how he didn't know what he would do if you were to leave his side forever.

Because of the stress draining his energies, Pluto would be exhausted and fall asleep shortly after making sure that you were okay.

Don't ever do that again, I don't know what I'd do if I lost my love like that...

He would probably mumble that right before falling asleep without even realizing it, and you would be left with that confession in the air

If you were to immediately ask him what was that about, chances are he would try to deny it as much as he could. You would have to be serious with your confession for him to believe you instead of thinking you were just pulling his leg.

If you were not injured, I still think that after some time he would confess, as long as you hinted that you liked him too.

He would probably confess when the two of you were alone, asking you for a moment away from privy eyes

And he would be so nervous too...Poor Pluto would probably end up half yelling his feelings for you while being a blubbery mess. A very sincere and determined mess, but you know, still a cute mess.

Any ideas for Nevermore Pluto x reader cuddling headcanons/short story?

I'm so sorry for taking this long to answer Anon, I've had a lot of projects this October and they've taken far more time and effort than what originally planned. I'll try to do better this next month.

♥ Pluto generally prefers being the one to hold you, being the big spoon, as he likes to feel like he's keeping you safe and warm.

♥ If you ever get cold, he'll offer his blazer or to keep you warm by holding you. He'll hold your hand to try and warm them up if they get cold, and he'll also try to get you some gloves from God knows where.

♥ Sometimes he likes to be held though, or to just be able to lay his head on your chest, right on top of your heart to feel it beat steadily.

♥ Especially after a nightmare or a negative experience, he'll *discreetly* hold your pulse points or will press closer to you to feel that you're alive, that you're fine.

♥ He sometimes gets upset that he's as short as he is because he feels like he isn't doing a good enough job at holding you, but as long as he sees you burrow closer to him, he'll just be content to hold you.

♥ He might sometimes take advantage of the stairs at Nevermore to just stand a step or two above you so he can hug you like he likes to.

♥ He doesn't really like to cuddle out in the open, as he doesn't like anyone teasing you two or asking any questions, so he prefers to just lay with you on your room or his (when he knows Duke will be out), or a secluded area.

♥ Only then he's able to finally relax. It's like you can see him melt and change into something else entirely when he's not feeling on edge.

♥ At that point he likes (if you're ok with it, of course) to either not talk at all or just murmur gentle words or nonsense to the comfortable air around you.

♥ If you ask him anything past ten minutes, well at that point you'll probably get some sleepy and hardly intelligible mumbles and a tired raven-haired someone looking at you as if you just spoke gibberish.

Omg, thank you for this ask! It's so funny to me though because I was already making a Pt. 2 ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ ) since I saw that the response for Pt 1 was pretty positive! Also, small disclaimer: If you're adverse to physical touch in relationships, you might not like some of these headcanons, but I'll try to include some that you might enjoy more

♡ Pluto secretly loves being the little spoon, even though he also loves being the big spoon. It doesn't matter how tall you are, if you like being held, he'll be damned if he doesn't get to hold you.

♡ Back to the being held thing. It's a pretty well-known fact that Pluto didn't get to enjoy the safety and comfort of in being someone's arms while he was alive; which is why you are very happy to oblige when he asks you to cuddle and to maybe hold him for a bit? If you don't mind?

♡ On the other hand, there are other (equally effective) ways of making sure that he knows he's being taken care of. For example, gently treating his wounds when he gets hurt, or lending him a shoulder to cry on when he's feeling troubled or upset; and most importantly, giving him space to be himself.

♡ Pluto knows that his friends mean well, but sometimes they can be a bit overbearing; which is why you need to be a bit careful when taking care of him, lest he thinks that you believe him to be incapable of looking after himself.

♡ He might also ask you to keep most displays of affection, at least the "bigger" ones like kisses or cuddles between yourselves as he's more of a private person.

Before reassuring you that it's not because someone is teasing him about you, and that he's not ashamed of your relationship you were a bit concerned as to why he would feel the need to be do secretive, but after hearing his reasoning, you understood his motives and let the matter go.

♡ When it's just the two of you, Pluto loves planting small kisses on the back of your hands or, if you allow him to, on your nape, on the exact spot your neck connects to your back. And obviously, he loves kissing your lips; whether it be quick pecks or longer and softer kisses.

♡ When it comes to him, he turns beet red if you kiss him anywhere on his face; but if you kiss him where his scar is, he will turn into a literal puddle or self-combust on the spot.

As said before, he's really ashamed of his scar, which is why he's constantly hiding it. So when you do stuff like that, acting as if you don't care in the slightest about it; even going as far as kissing his scar, he can't put into words the relief and happiness that fills him.

♡ It's thanks to you and the others, that he starts smiling more, and stops being so fidgety; knowing that he's safe and that he has someone who's there for him.
