Wk #3: Plying Structures In preparation to work on a 3x3 cable, I needed to split these singles into three even portions. I wound off the singles to a magazine, counted the loops, and unwrapped them around wool dryer balls. Half done - each set needs 56 of the wraps from the magazine. To keep track, every ten magazine wraps are in one plane wrapped around the dryer ball. Three dryer balls each have a third of the singles I spun on a spindle.
