Kiki’s statement caused Elidi to turn and properly look at the Wiccan, her brow arched, baffled. “What were you doing alone in the woods?” The witch attempted to keep her tone impartial not wanting the girl to feel like Elidi was scolding her, none the less the information troubled her. “It is incredibly dangerous to be wandering alone in Tabula, not everyone is a friend, Kiki.” A discontented sigh emitted from deep within her chest, bright eyes staring at Kiki with distress. Upon hearing the name of her newfound friend, her head tilted, curiously. “Oh... how odd. I know of him.”
“I did not outright ask, but I assumed he was a vampire. He seemed.... gentle and timid.” Perhaps it was her unkind history and the cruel fate of witches long ago that left Elidi distrustful still. “Just.. be careful.” Elidi could take care of herself, and although she was training Kiki she wasn’t particularly strong just yet, being a human was dangerous in Tabula, especially an unaccompanied one.
Deciding to change the subject, she gestured toward Kiki’s cup, “...do you like the tea?”
“I...I didn’t know! Well I know how...a few nights after meeting Garridan I went for another nightly walk...this hybrid thing tried to attack me but Tamryn was around and she ended up saving me......” she averted her gaze and sipped on her tea, unsure how exactly Elidi would react. “But! I promise I won’t go out at night alone In the woods anymore!” She took another sip of tea. “It is very delicious thank you!” She kept her gaze away from the witches, she didn’t want to see any disappointment or anger from her close friend.
