sue bird, your longtime friend and teammate, earlier this week she announced her retirement, what has she meant to the game of women's basketball? i told her yesterday, i'm still in denial. you know, i'm just so used to basketball with sue, as a teammate, as a competitor. for the game of basketball, she's took it to a different level, on so many different fronts, on the court, off the court, she's pushed the envelope every single time. we have a lot to be grateful for and thankful for because of sue.
