Parker smiled at the family as they vacated their booth and wished them a good night, the smile soon disappeared when they stepped through the door and she turned to the mess they had left for her to clean up. She sighed heavily and stacked the plates into an easily transportable pile before carrying them to the back where one of her co-workers was working potwash. On her way out she grabbed her spray bottle and a cloth and walked over to the booth which resembled a ketchup-and-mayonnaise-coated bombsite. she began cleaning the table meticulously, cursing the family under her breath and questioning their upbringings while she did so.
When the table was almost gleaming with cleanliness, she stepped back and wiped her forehead with the back of her hand, smiling at her hard work. She walked back to the counter and washed her hands at the sink, just in time to have three plates slide over to her and an order slip passed through the food window, she smiled at the chef and checked the table number before carrying the meals over to a group of students. The bell above the door rang and another family walked in, spotting the clean booth and sitting in it immediately, Parker groaned internally and looked at the clock, luckily she only had about two hours left of her shift. She walked over to the table and smiled at the family.
"Hi welcome to Gina's, how may I help you this evening?"
