This Beautiful Friend from Perth is the Western Banjo or Pobblebonk Frog! This species is only found in the southwest corner of Australia and they were kind enough to share their Song of Bonk with us while we were there!

Pobblebonks Pobblebonking in Cheltenham tonight for FrogID Week 2025!
Tonight we met these beautiful Southern Brown Tree Frog friends at a frog survey in Cheltenham with Friends of Native Wildlife Inc! (Soundtrack by Pobblebonks and Spotted Marsh Frogs!)

Tonight we have been Frogging at Greens Bush with Melbourne Water and Frog Expert Dave De Angelis! We met these Gorgeous Friends: Common Eastern Froglets in two different Fantastic Jackets! Southern Banjo Frog and Southern Brown Tree Frog!

A Spotted Marsh Frog, A Southern Brown Tree Frog and a Pobblebonk Frog!
Tonight we were lucky to meet this Very Fabulous Baby Pobblebonk Frog at the Frog Census in Reservoir!
Tonight we have been to Sandringham to record frogs for FrogID Week! It was a bit chilly but we heard lots of Spotted Marsh Frogs, lots of Pobblebonk Frogs and one optimistic Peron’s Tree Frog!
FrogID Week runs until this Sunday! 🐸
