… Throws this at you
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Flaming Birds Can’t Fly, Says Icarus, but the Phoenix Rises Again
Summary : Here it was. The end. Eclipse should have been expecting this, but that didn’t matter now. Now it was time to move on. Except, the multiverse seemed to have different plans it seems, as Eclipse wakes back up.
You are a professional sculptor and 3D model creator with a guilty love for the funny little YouTube show loosely based on the FNAF Daycare Attendants. As a side project just for your own enjoyment, you decided to make posable figures of the characters. Never had you expected one of them to come alive.
You also never would have expected what comes next.
(TL;DR : Eclipse dies and gets therapy from a new unwilling housemate.)
Another poll! This one story related!
Okay, so, in my Pocket Eclipse AU, I need to figure out how far I want to throw Eclipse from the Pizzaplex. I originally planned that Eclipse was going to end up in our universe, adding a whole new level of hopelessness to his situation when he does become better. Like he wants to apologize for everything he did, but he knows he’s never going to be able to because to them he’s dead. And they hated him so, even if they knew he was alive, they wouldn’t come looking. There would be a push for redeeming himself while knowing he will never be forgiven.
BUT, I’m not sure if that’s taking things too far. Like, just a bit far fetched and “meta”. The other possibility is that he was just thrown back to his original dimension. The question then would be if he wants to go see them? He could attempt to apologize, but they already had their closure with him when he died. Would it be better to just let them keep thinking he was gone?
Which of these would you guys rather see? Would you rather him feel more hopeless because he can’t get back and apologize? Or would you rather him be torn between wanting to be forgiven and wanting to situation to finally end?
Which dimension?
Our dimension! More hopeless angst!
His dimension! More regretful angst!
Rrrrrr, I’m thinking about Pocket Eclipse AU rn and I’m just, I need to hold this man. I need to shake him around and then just hold him and tell him it’s gonna be okay. Then that cute aggression’s gonna kick in again and I’m gonna start shaking him again. The cycle repeats until we’re at the end of the fanfic.
Okay I’m doing it. I’m going to do it. I’m going to rewatch the Eclipse’s Death episode and not have another mental breakdown over it. I’m going to work on my Pocket Eclipse AU and make Y/N have a mental breakdown over it. I’m not projecting at all, what do you mean???
Please enjoy this snippet from the upcoming chapter of Flaming Birds, I’m working so hard on it can’t you tell
Making the music playlist for Flaming Birds Can’t Fly has me laughing my ass off manically while also sobbing my eyes out. I’m so evil but at the cost of my own mental health.
Sorry to my readers, but this story will hurt you in so many different ways.
